It’s an okay app, but isn’t really as user friendly as Google+ or Facebook.
I find it hard to navigate through the settings and feed. There’s still a lot of missing features, such as viewing albums from profiles and whatnot. One thing I don’t like is how the app crashes A LOT. It takes a long time to load it on my iPhone 8, and sometimes I’m way too impatient.
Couldn’t add emoji, the limited was reach

It is not a FB or G+ replacement.
To be blunt, I wouldn’t be even looking at this if G+ weren’t closing. The platform itself is not bad, (though it does remind me of MySpace) but lacks the number of users to be viable replacement for fb or G+. This shows up in not being able to follow big names, magazines, newspapers, institutions etc. because they are not there. I know this is not the fault of the developers, and I can hope it will expand and attract pages from the Guardian or MoMA etc. That (and a more modern look) would improve things a lot.
