Description

MIDI Voice Controller is an audio to MIDI converter that converts the pitch of your voice (or musical instruments) into MIDI note signals. The app detects one pitch at a time (i.e., melodies only). MIDI signals can be used to control synth apps running on the same iOS device, or on other networked devices and computers.
MIDI Voice Controller is Audiobus compatible. Sends MIDI on channel 1.

This doesn’t do what you expect first ,I can’t use this in AUM or ApeMatrix works Audiobus 3 but the way it tracks you voice is way off maybe if you add pitch correction of some sort to detect the pitch of the voice it mite work better but it needs major work please update to make work better

Does not return a usable midi signal

Iphone 6 iOS 8.1 will load the app but the midi signal that is outputed is complete noise. Unusable. Showing several non related notes (non harmonics) over several octaves when one pitch is sung.

Accuracy is horrible.

It thinks even sent note is G4. Don't waste your money. Go buy a king sized snickers instead.

Major delay and poor accuracy

The reason they recommend using this for drawn out string parts is because there is a major processing delay (500ms?) between the time you sing and the time the [sometimes] corresponding note is triggered. The Fourier transform they use is picking up upper harmonics (which is why it says the timbre of your voice affects the quality of the output). There is also very high sensitivity to error, so unless you sing with the pitch of a newly tuned piano, it's not going to be a workable app. Great idea. The execution needs help.
