My Honest Opinion
I will say the game is incredible but it suffers lag issues when playing chapters/events also a chainsaw kill when it comes to a boss makes a soft lock if these could be fixed I’ll be happy, that aside the game is incredible for fans of doom both new and old
Microtransactional trash
This game could be better, but it’s soulless garbage not designed for actual enjoyment. It’s repetitive pay-as-you-go trash designed to extract extra real money from children’s parents’ credit cards. If there were a one-time fee to simply have the whole product in front of me unlocked, great, that standard model is standard for a reason. Instead, there are constant hiccups, interruptions, ads, and intentional slow-downs to prompt nonstop microtransactions, aggressively in your face, along with extremely long in-game ads for other products. After potentially 15-30 minutes of gameplay, users are literally forced to wait 4 hours to play again for that duration, or pay repeated microtransactions of actual money. This is a late-stage capitalism steaming pile of excrement, solely designed to continuously generate shareholder revenue. The mountain of positive reviews is almost certainly very fake.
