Terminé eliminando la app porque tiene muchas fallas.
I have migraines and occipital neuralgia. I was using migraine buddy but stopped using it consistently because it just felt like too much. All I really wanted was a simple way to track symptoms that were frequent. Firstly I was so excited to see you can track multiple conditions simply. The user interface is really clean, quick, intuitive, and you can add your own symptoms. You can add notes and put in as much or as little as you want. You don’t have to add the end time for an episode before putting in a new one. You can add new entries for symptoms, triggers or treatments. You can track meds. You can add notes independent of an episode. Truly it’s perfect, you can do as much or as little as you want and they have thought about every little possible feature you may want. And all of this you can do in the free one version which is so incredible.
This app has only gotten better over time. Developer makes thoughtful helpful updates that continue to make it more user friendly and helpful. Love the barometer function-it helped me figure out that was my main trigger Log is super helpful when meeting with my neurologist and primary care doctors Medication log is soooo helpful when I have migraine brain and can’t remember what time I took meds A++++
I have not tried premium (yet) but even the free features seem pretty good. I like having the ability to track headache incidents as well as other symptoms, triggers, notes, and medications taken. A few requests/bugs: - I would like to have an easy way to report a headache that only lasts for a few seconds - Typing in the “Add to log” text box only adds a note to the current day (even if I am looking at a different day at the time) - Clicking the “Add rain or snow” button always wants to put the rain on Sunday, even though today is Friday and I am looking at the Friday page - I would like there to be a log for symptoms and triggers - It would be great to have the pain map available for generic symptoms
Never got to try the app because the payment process kept insisting that my ApplePay credit card had expired (it hasn’t) and asking me to enter my card information in the app. Um, no. Deleted app immediately.
The title says it all. This app is a game changer.
It has updated so many times lately, it is not easy to navigate anymore. Good concept, not user friendly.
This app has been updated very significantly since I last used it, looks rewritten. It does look like a lot of my original complaints have been addressed. I don't see a way to delete this review entirely, so I'm leaving the original text below for context. I'm leaving four stars in case I forget to come back and update the review again after spending more time with the app. ---------------------- OLD REVIEW BELOW The overall design is pretty straightforward, and seems like it'd potentially be helpful, but there are a lot of bugs -- everything from unresponsive buttons, to misinterpreted gestures, to the wrong items being selected, to times being wrong, to scrolling not being correctly matched to finger position. They interfere with use of the app. I'd also like more expressiveness in logging headaches and categorizing non-headaches. For instance, caffeine could be a trigger or a treatment. A headache might come on slowly, and then ramp up in intensity over the course of hours. There isn't currently a clear way to express that kind of information. It'd also be great to have some ability to log weather and meal times (or say, unusual gaps between them).
This App is such a great migraine tracker, I have a friend who uses it too we both live it. Moved over from Migraine Buddy. I would give it more stars if I could!
A few days back, I pointed out in my review that there was a contradiction in the Privacy “snapshot” shown in the Apple App Store, which claimed that no data of any kind is collected and shared (“Data Not Collected: The Developer Does Not Collect Any Data from this App.”), when compared to the full written Privacy Policy. The developer quickly responded and fixed the error, which I appreciate. Everybody makes mistakes, but not everybody owns up to them and corrects them the way this Developer did.
