App won’t work on iPad. Company had so much potential and has really run things into the ground.
Variable levels of connection, little to no customer support, sub based monitoring. Do not buy this monitor.
This monitor has been a terrible purchase. I literally just purchased a $40 one and can’t wait for its arrival. After purchasing for an expensive price… they required us to pay a monthly fee to be able to view our child. I’ve received’no movement’ alarms while o could watch him moving. Today the ‘night vision’ stopped working. So I effectively have a very expensive noise monitor. It seemed like a great idea when we purchased 2 years ago. But now I’m full of frustration and regret.
This company is a total scam. The monitor was sold as subscription free as others have said. They then put the features that were paid for behind a pay wall and removed them. Completely fraudulent marketing.
I’ve had this monitor since before you had to pay a monthly subscription and loved it. I recently ended my subscription because my child is a little older now so I don’t need breathing monitoring. I continue to use just the video monitor, but as soon as my subscription ended the app buffers constantly, has a long lag time if it does work and randomly shuts off or mutes.
Do not buy this monitor and don’t waste you time on the app. We bought our miku before everything went behind a paywall and honestly - it provided great peace of mind for us as first time parents (even though the app wasn’t great). Then the company apparently went bankrupt and put every single one of the features that make the monitor worth the money behind a paywall. So you’re essentially buying a video monitor for $400 that you could have spent $50 on (max). Oh and their customer service is basically non existent. Do yourself a favor and buy literally any other monitor on the market. Shame on this company.
I bought this in 2022 based on suggestions of so many people. It worked great for the first couple months. Then it started getting glitchy. It would sound alarms for breathing when the baby wasn’t in the crib. These are now subscription features- but when you already spend so much on a product to get butt f**kd on subscription fees is ridiculous. The monitor died, replaced by miku after numerous attempts to have it reconnect. Then there was some type of acquisition of the company and it’s gone down hill. There’s zero support for this expensive decor item attached to my wall. Can’t get anyone to respond. Monitor currently shows Celsius when it’s set to Fahrenheit. Screen always opens as black, need to constantly switch the settings back and forth to even get it to work remotely at all. I have an inexpensive back up one that doesn’t use my phone, is so much more reliable and doesn’t require internet. Don’t you dare waste your money on this. Go buy something fun instead.
Waste of time and money recent app is a complete joke
So now we have to pay for notifications. Live breathing came free now is not, and now no notifications this is crazy
