Mimi Hearing Test

It’s really great but it’s hard to understand how to properly use the app and all that press release thing

Jeg har høreapparat i mit venstre øre pga. ned sat hørelse og tinitus, så jeg tog egentlig kun appen ned af nysgerrighed, for at se om den kunne se det... og jeg blev så positivt overrasket fordi den sagde det samme som jeg vidste i forvejen... så nu vil jeg bruge den her regelmæssigt..🙌🎉🙏

I have been so unfortunate to lose my hearing almost completely on my left ear after a fall, and am using Mimi for assessing how my hearing progresses. This is a great app, and I am very grateful to the developers. The Mimi music app is a great way of making music sound much more crisp if your hearing has degraded. Only suggestion for improvement: Mimi complains if you do not press the "I can hear" button for more than 10 seconds. Perhaps it should wait for longer if you confirm that it is simply because you cannot hear.

Felt genuine and it was nice to be told my hearing is fine.

As a teacher I often get exposed to loud sounds. I often worry about my hearing, and has been to the doctor a few times. The Mimi Hearing Test has been a great time saver and an easy to use tool, to secure me that my hearing hasn't been damaged that much, -yet 😉

Dejlig nem høretest. Giver godt overblik over hvor der er begyndende problemer med hørelsen. Anbefales.

Great test simple easy. But the clarification for test was not easy to understand and make sense for me.

Tried a few and this was the best. I did like on another app that green, yellow, red thresholds were defined at 25, 45, 70 db HL- useful context. I would be interested, relative to my age, what percentile my hearing falls into. This would probably be my top request as it would help me identify how bad my hearing is compared to others. Then this is perhaps beyond the scope of the app but seems like an obvious continuation of it, what next? “Monitor your hearing loss”, “Contact an audiologist”, etc.

Unless my hearing has miraculously recovered by 20% a decade after losing it to thousands of hours around jet engines, I’m a little suspicious AirPods Pro might be too good at their job to let you miss the beeps. If you need accurate results, it may be worth trying the test with all the pods features turned off. 😂
