One of my favorite apps is back! I thought Mind Jogger had become abandonware at this point, but the dev recently updated it after a multi-year hiatus. Mind Jogger is a godsend for my ADHD. I’m surprised there aren’t other apps like it. Email the dev if you find a glitch, I did and he solved it right away. One request: I need some new sounds. My brain is accustomed to all the old stuff, somewhat limiting the app’s effectiveness for me. ADHD is responsive to novelty, but anything that’s routine eventually gets ignored.
Been using this for almost 4 years now and the most recent update just shuts down anytime I try changing something.
The concept is good: set up a number of reminders throughout the day. What I like is that these can be “random”. It’s helpful for different kinds of mindfulness activities. Would be good to just leave it at that and make it work well. Unfortunately the implementation is very buggy. The notifications, constantly asking if I want to save a reminder to a log that apparently requires a higher level of paid access. Missed notifications because they route to the Apple Watch, and although you can see the notification you can not acknowledge it. All of the constant dialogues about saving and did you complete the reminder are unhelpful and never work.
Doesn’t work
Great concept.. No longer supported. In-app purchase not restorable. Several bugs.
When you pick the days for the reminder I can’t tell if blue means selected or gray with readable text means selected. It’s a stupid mistake and although I could easily figure it out, there’s no tutorial or faqs to help me
I really appreciate this app. You can customize how often you get notified about each reminder, the window of time, the days of the week, and even the specific notification sound! One note: I wish the developers would keep working on this app, as it stands above the others that I’ve tried
This app is not supported anymore. I downloaded and I get zero reminders. I tried to edit an existing reminder and it fails to save changes. I'd like my money back but not even sure how at this point.
