IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The MindDoc App is a risk class I medical product according to Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices)

Intended Medical Purpose:

The MindDoc monitoring and self-management application medical device provides continuous long-term sign and symptom monitoring of common mental disorders. This protocol is supplemented by courses and exercises. This enables users to recognize patterns in their symptom trajectories which then can be shared with a mental health care provider and used for self-management.

MindDoc thus

provides users orientation regarding the need to consult a mental health care provider by providing an assessment of the general emotional health. A mental health care provider then can include the summary of the protocols in his overall diagnostic and clinical assessment.

enables users to self-manage symptoms and related problems by providing both transdiagnostic and disorder-specific evidence-based courses and exercises which help them to recognize, understand, and cope with signs and symptoms of mental disorders by self-initiating behavior change.

The application explicitly does not replace the diagnosis by a mental health care provider, but can only give orientation on whether to consult a mental health care provider who then can include the results of the medical device in diagnostic processes.

The application explicitly does not replace psychotherapy.

Please read the regulatory information (e.g., warnings) and instruction for use as provided on our medical device site: https://minddoc.com/medizinprodukt

not as good as bloom

Niklesxxx on

What I really like about bloom are the 2 coaches/personas you can choose to guide you through your practices, I found that really effective. Mind doc should use something similar. Mind doc also doesn’t have as many options of insights, courses, meditations, mantras etc.

Good app, disappointing at costs.

Unfortunately everything costs money, There is no free help to anyone, I can’t afford to sign up. Also the helpline number does not exist.

I think it’s appalling that people have to pay for this app helping your mental health should be free some people can’t afford to pay for these things it’s disheartening

Helping me to moderate my mood.

Also recognising my emotions and feelings ensuring I do not go too high or low. Thank you.

This app has helped me significantly

EllaJenks on

I downloaded this app in early 2020, when I was in the midst of a very dark period for me personally. In those bleak days it helped me track and keep notice of my mood, and helped me recognise when things were getting worse or improving. I’ve used it consistently since then, and i now have 3 years of data on my mental health - which is a fantastic thing to have. What a wonderful tool. I am doing much better now, and I am so grateful to Mindoc for assisting me in this journey.

Yet another..

Update Thursday 9 March 2023/ Mind doc; Still gives me the creeps and adding; use of the phrase “mental disorders” does NOTHING to destigmatise mental health problems so please get yourself a thesaurus and work on being more polite. Tut tut. My Psychology tutor, NEVER used that phrase. Why? It’s belittling. It’s playground taunt level. Yours sincerely ——) 18,26; Monday 7 November 2022 Title; Yet another .. Rating; 1 point Mind Doc Mind Doc claims to be “your companion” but I’ve never had a companion give me a spiel on “how many companies we are sharing your data with.” Talk like this gives me the creeps. Stuff that goes on for chapters gives me the creeps. It’s designed to make you so confused that you click accept without thinking of what consequences are ahead. I suffer with damage to the brain and can’t wade through their thesis length data sharing policy, and I’ve no idea why they think I should be happy with this so I’m out. Deleted. Yours sincerely 18,32/

Expensive

rp1231963 on

I really like the app and appreciate all the hard work. I like the fact that it asks questions 3 times a day. But I do feel it is a bit expensive. It doesn’t seem to give you the option of month by month. I don’t think many people could afford such a lot in one go. I would like to try full courses but can’t afford it. But what I have done is very good and useful.

Helpful

MSL 🥲 on

I went through a bad time last November so I was looking for an app basically so I had someone to talk to (kinda sad Ik) and this one was free and helpful I’m not doing great atm so I’ve gone back to the app because I don’t have anyone to talk to so having something to say how I feel too rlly helps and it even gave me a helpline just in case I needed it which was nice :)
