MindFit at Work

Description

Stressed at work? The MindFit at Work app enables meditation practices to be easily incorporated into your work day. It is designed to make meditation accessible to anyone and, with a focus on elements of the work day, encourage users to increase mindfulness and reduce stress while at work.
Anyone can use the app – there is no jargon or fluff and you don’t need to have any prior meditation experience. We also don’t use any spiritual references as, to us, this app is about helping you better cope in the workplace, not following a spiritual journey.
Within the app, meditations are broken up into the following work specific categories:
Break – use these meditations during a morning or afternoon tea break or during lunch to give your brain a bit of down time.
Chill – use these meditations whenever you just need to chill!
Commute – use these meditations when you are commuting to work on train, bus, tram, ferry or, if you have one, helicopter. Just don’t use these when you are driving or in control of a bike!
Focus – use these meditations when you need some focus in your life. These work well when you are writing up long or complex reports and help to recharge your brain.
Happiness – use these meditations when you just want to bring a bit of happiness to your work day.
Meetings – use the group meditations to start and finish your meetings and bring everyone into a mindful and productive state. Use the individual one if you are going from meeting to meeting to get you focussed and stop ruminating on the previous meeting.
STOP – use this meditation when you feel yourself getting a bit overwhelmed and just need to stop.
In the app we also have a “mood meter” which enables you to track your mood across 3 different elements – happy, focus & calm – after each meditation. This helps you track your mood and your level of mindfulness after meditations and you can view data for the last week, month or year.
We have a growing range of videos added to the app to give you some workplace mindfulness tips and tricks. We are always open to suggestions, so feel free to email us at [email protected].
