Brilliant App

So happy I found this app! Absolutely fantastic service, easy to use with a huge range of therapists to chose from. Really great range of resources to help with too.

Great Therapists, poor app experience

NigiKayC on

United Kingdom

The therapists on the platform have been truly wonderful. 100% worth installing for quality therapy. The app experience - not so much. You cannot reach out to your therapist directly, you always have to go through support. This is incredibly inefficient and inconvenient. I do not see any reason as to why there cannot be a direct messaging service from the user to the therapist - it does not have to be in a chat format if you are trying to prevent the therapist being overwhelmed. For simple things like scheduling, and getting in touch to let them know you can’t make it etc, interacting with support every time just seems counterproductive.

They don’t care about your mental health

Jhhytyytttrrre on

I am quite shocked that they have good reviews on the App Store, if you compare it to their Google and trust pilot reviews it’s the total opposite. For anyone who needs support, please avoid this application as I was gullible in thinking they would help me. It’s a money grab app and they will sneakily bill you even though they are classified as free sessions. It’s horrible and disgusting to prey on people who are suffering and get taken advantage of.

I paid 16 sessions and only 4 were delivered. Now they don’t want to give me an appointment with a different consultant. Never again! Dishonest service

Lillian Shundi is a life-changing, empowering therapist

Kim, Secondary Teacher on

United Kingdom

If I could hand pick a therapist to meet me in my personal, it would be Dr. Lillian Shundi. As a therapist, Lilian offered meaningful activities between sessions, brought sincere compassion, and asked profound questions that helped me to unpack my issues and rebuild and reframe. In just eight sessions was able to identify blockages in my mental health and helped me to make shifts for healthier living. She is professional, compassionate, and skilled. A powerful experience of therapy in a short time. Thank you.

Poor app

Caltographer on

United Kingdom

The therapists are professionals and do their best but the app itself is clumsy and awkward. If you can go to in person therapy I would advise it strongly over this. Again, no problem with the professionals who are conducting therapy through the app but the interface is poor and impersonal. In addition, having to send confidential documents over email through customer support felt insecure as there is no way to ensure that only your therapist has access to the material.

The best therapist - Justyna

Justyna has helped me so much - I feel confident moving forward with my life thanks to the wonderful support she has given me over the last 6 months. Thank you and I feel happy knowing where you are if I need you again.

Life Changing

From my initial start I was skeptical but Jessie has been truly life changing for me. She has slowly made me question key parts of my thinking and life and has given me a new understanding and improvements to my way of thinking. I would recommend this therapy and Mindler to anyone

Not the app for you if you desperately need help

Anak_PJ on

My therapist has been lovely, but the HOOPS I had to jump through to get a therapist through Mindler via Vitality have been *noteworthy*. Mindler didn’t recognise my Vitality account info so I had to report an issue through Vitality, send a screenshot of the error to Vitality, then repeat the whole signup process again with special instructions to enter some code to finally get it to work. Then when it came to scheduling an appointment, I was confused about the timezones as I was travelling but wanted to get an assessment as soon as possible. No where on the app does it say which timezone you’re booked for so I missed my first appointment. While that session was refunded, it was still an unnecessary error that could have been solved with a simple timezone mention in the confirmation notification or in the UI itself. After starting my session, my therapist sent over a message and to retrieve it, I HAD TO CONTACT MINDLER’s SUPPORT TEAM. I don’t understand why I couldn’t just get a message from my therapist directly. I don’t look forward to the day I have to reschedule a session if retrieving a simple message takes this much effort. Heck, I can’t even message my therapist to tell her I’m running 5 minutes late. All in all, the therapists on Mindler are great, but the experience with the app itself just drives me nuts. The mental load required to get this app to work for me has been absolutely disproportionate. If you REALLY need help and you don’t have the capacity for this sort of mindless busy admin work, use something else.
