Minesweeper JD Reviews

Addictive, but has some very annoying features

This app was last updated 4 years ago, so I’m guessing they’ve moved on to other things. At least it’s stable now. I like to play the Classic game (not multiplayer). I like that you can flag a spot and you just lose points if you’re wrong, this eliminates guess work in those times when you just don’t have enough clues. But that doesn’t make it easy. Level Insane made me obsessed with this game for a while, and level Impossible might actually be impossible (I’m been playing for years and still can’t beat it). The annoying features that I wish they would fix: - Audio settings. This app takes over audio. So you can’t listen to music on your phone and play the game at the same time. - The game map. I’m not sure what they call this. In the lower right corner of the screen it displays a map of the whole game, allowing you to see your progress or spot a mine that hasn’t been flagged yet. The problem is that in the Insane and Impossible levels it blocks half the screen and there’s no way to turn it off.

I’d love to try this game but it shuts off my audio

Why do apps override music and podcasts? I enjoy another game by this developer (cribbage) and wanted to give this a try. But if I can’t listen to audio while I play it’s a no go. If that issue is fixed I’ll redownload and try again.

Terrible

This game has way too many bugs to play correctly... many numbers have no bombs attached to it. Let alone where there shouldn't be a bomb, a bomb shows up. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! I couldn't go lower than one star should be none!

I enjoy the different levels with the large grids. New look in a classic game

Not bad

I love that the grids get so large but the mines didn't feel dense enough to make it challenging and I was a little frustrated that I couldn't zoom out.

Hard but fun
