Too many ads and the game makes it impossible to set up a new game and change the dimensions of the board. This used to be my go to version but now I would recommend looking somewhere else. Why do game companies do this, just be minesweeper for crying out loud!
This is the WORST minesweeper game out there. It’s offers nothing but 8x8 for free and is an advertisement hellscape. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Every time I start a new game on this app, it only uncovers 1 square leaving me with nothing but despair.
The numbers are completely incorrect (will have a completely swept field, but the number is telling me there are 5 mines). I will flag all mines in a game, and the game should be won, but nothing happens (as if I have missed one, but after I set a mine off, it clearly showed that I have labelled them all correctly). Literally makes no sense, you can’t even win. And then they throw ads in every 30 seconds. Huuuge money grab/scam
I downloaded this game a couple of years ago and there were zero ads and little to no monetization. Now, you can’t even lose a game without getting an annoying 30 second as that you can’t skip. Game modes are locked behind a $20 a month subscription service that is marketed in a predatory way. I assume the game was bought by a scummy mobile game publisher and monetized to an extreme level. Do not play this game, you cannot enjoy it to the fullest without paying a ridiculous amount.
The first time you start the app you get at least 4 pop ups and it is littered with ads unless you pay. Just going to stick to my computer.
I’ve been playing and otherwise it’s been great, but the touch control is so off, and whenever I try to flag something, half the time I end up being blown up instead, no matter how long I hold on the space.
