Mini Bike Computer Reviews
Presque parfait
Great app for privacy minded people.
Love the app. I sometimes have issues with my rides not saving. Other than that everything is very quick and intuitive. Definitely a great app
Superb - Excellent - Accurate - Simple
We use this app to record/map/catalog our rides. Terrific integration with Apple Maps and Apple Watch. Absolutely one of the best apps developed for cycling. Although it is free, it easily and appropriately earns a donation to the developers tip jar. Thank you for creating this app!
updates are bad
This app has become useless for me, because I can no longer orient the map with the north arrow button. For some strange reason it’s now disabled in the later versions. No point in buying the pro.
Great app
This app is great and super polished. I especially like the OSM map option. Unfortunately, there are some issues with pausing that make the app less useful for multi-modal bike trips. If these are fixed this is an easy 5-star app.
Works great!
I’ve never don’t a app review before however I though this app was worth putting a word out there.
I’ve been looking for a bike computer, then thought I wonder if there is a app I can just use.
This app has works great to give you all your biking info. Your distance bikes, altitude climbed and so forth.
The best part is it’s FREE99 I hope it continues to stay free.
THE MOST AWESOME "Free" Bike Computer App‼️
It's hard to believe such a polished basic bike computer app is "free", but this is it‼️ I hope people that try this app, and then use it on a regular basis will financially contribute to this guy‼️ It's also great to see the integration to Apple Health....... I only hope at some time in the future this integration includes receiving/displaying real-time Heart Rate data from Apple Health.
Accurate and awesome
This app is accurate and works very well with my Apple Watch. Never seen a bug in the software and works every time!!!
recent crashes corrected…thank you
I wrote the following review ( see below) about a month ago. Since then, the developer notified me that the crashes when trying to open settings were solved. I have tried it and indeed it has not happened again. I still want to know if anyone has done any accurate testing of altitude gain, perhaps using a good barometric altimeter. I suspect the altitude gain difference I observe between Strava and this app suggests one of them is not very accurate. Maybe both of them. But Strava shows greater altitude gains. So anyone out there with a good altimeter, please help with your data on this question. Meanwhile, crashes are solved, and I am increasing my review to 4 stars. The moment this app tells me I am Superman and climbed Mt Everest and not my local hills, I am immediately updating with 5 stars! Here’s my old review before this update: I have been using this as my on-bike computer for a while, and I endorse the straightforward simplicity and apparent respect of privacy and noncommercial nature of it. However, perhaps coinciding with some IOS updates, a crash began to occur every time I turned it on and tried to go to settings. I am using older phones like 6s and 6s Plus, but updated to the most current iOS. Is anyone else having a similar problem? I do have one other observation. The altitude gain is always about 30% less than shown in Strava. I have not compared either to an accurate altimeter, but I suspect Strava’s deeper pockets have allowed development of a pretty accurate system, so my suspicion is that the altitude gain and loss stats in this app may be less accurate. If anyone has done some ground-truth analysis please share your data.
Functional
The only problem I have with this app is that I am unable to name my saved routes. The app automatically lists my rides as morning ride, lunch ride, or evening ride. I would like to list my rides by location.
