Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir

Love it so so very much thank you for making this game

I loved the game. The gameplay is fun, and it’s great for any miraculous fan. But then the subscription pretty much took over the game. I love every character you need the subscription to unlock but $8 a week is just to much! I would love the game if the subscription was cheaper or if it didn’t exist at all.

Let me start by saying that I am a very big fan of the Miraculous series. I've been watching it since around the time Season 1 finished in 2016. I first installed this game a while ago and decided to give it another go in preparation for the upcoming Season 5 finale. It's a decent way to pass time, but its problems are so significant now that I felt compelled to write this review. Something needs to be done here. The game itself is okay. It's an endless runner, much like Sonic Dash. But unlike that game, there are individual missions to complete in each stage, so it's not truly endless except in a handful of score attack stages. Those endless score attack stages are the weakest part of the gameplay, since they can be very monotonous: the environment does not change during a run, and the difficulty does not increase as your score climbs higher. But the regular stages are quite enjoyable, and though the overall difficulty curve from stages 1 to 90 is rather wonky, it's not terrible. So it's not just an inferior Sonic Dash. Of course, you're probably playing this because you're a fan of the show, so you're probably wondering about the characters. The only character you can play as by default is, of course, Marinette. You can unlock Adrien, Alya, Nino, Chloé and Luka with in-game currency, which is rather easy to come by. You can also use the superhero forms of each character: Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, Queen Bee, Viperion...and also Mister Bug, for some reason. Some stages allow you to start as a civilian and transform into a superhero mid-stage by collecting certain items, which in my opinion are the defining points of the game and most capture the general concept of the show. You can also play as Hawk Moth himself during certain events, which unlock a few "free runs" that let you use him in normal stages. So that's a total of fourteen characters, which isn't bad...but Miraculous fans might regard this as lacking, having seen how many other heroes appear in the show. There are in fact more characters in the game, but this leads me to the game's fatal flaw: monetization. The game has three payment models. Ads are rather rampant, but you can remove them with a small fee (1.99 USD plus tax). Reasonable enough. You can also buy in-game currency, like in most other games, but butterflies are so easy to earn that I don't know why one would bother. There’s is literally nothing to describe how good this game is I used to watch cat noir and ladybug all the time I have found the game! You have to play this!

I LOVE THIS GAME

The reason why I gave it a three star is because I played this a lot and never stopped but then I start getting bored because now that I unlocked all the characters and that most of the characters require money which straight off pistols me off so I kinda deleted it and stopped playing for a while. I feel like this game is pay to win…
