this app is good for practicing, but i think that a grading system would really help - so once you have written the kanji, it would grade it in a percentage to how close you got it to the actual kanji - therefore this allows for easier improvement and then you could even beat your score as the time goes on so you know where to practice
The design of this app is really nice and simple, which makes it so easy to use. But there are some bugs that cause the app to crash when changing settings, and when using this on my iPad the flashcard mode (which allows the kanji to be displayed without the English and in a random order) does not work. So at the moment this app is not very good for actually learning Japanese.
