I have used Airbnb a lot and never had to do this to check-in. Makes no sense

Incredibly intrusive app, with no option to abstain. Avoid.

Saw all the negative reviews and I was worried when my AirBnB used it. I was pleasantly surprised when it functioned well. Only issue I encountered was with the passport scanning feature - which had some issues.

Very buggy. Hard to use and asked a lot of private questions. System kept crashing while try to register. Such a waste of time.

La app no funciona bien y detrás de esta aplicación se esconde una organización turbia que además exige el pago de fianzas para acceder a la propiedad alquilada. Estas fianzas no siempre son devueltas en tiempo y forma. EVITE ESTA APP, EVITE ALQUILAR UNA PROPIEDAD CON MIT

It will only let you on the app 10% of the time. And all your data is stored on this horrible app. US licenses do not work and the scanning for documents is very sensitive. I would say save the trouble and do not use anything that has to do with this application. Enjoy your stay, your time, peace of mind and sanity by not booking and downloading this app.

Infuriating and unnecessary. Do yourself a favor and go with a different company that does not require you to install this pointless and intrusive app.

The absence of public databases where facial recognition can be ver gifted creates a simple Concern of the respect for privacy data when facial recognition is stored. It’s simply make no sense therefore in the absence of a need for providing storage of facial data recognition this creates a doubt of the reason behind that. I have a concern to provide biométrica data to private entities for unclear purposes and therefore I will never use that system for that exact same reason. And exact explanation of the need to store biometric data is missed.
