I adore typewriters and own 3. This app works like a real one with the technological advance of having a backspace that deletes. BONUS! It would be a shame if it worked like a modern keyboard with all of the editing capabilities. I have used it loads it's so fab. Love the sounds too.
Other than for a child playing on it to hear the click of key sounds and carriage returns it's utter nonsense. You can type a document and read through it, notice an error but you can't rectify the error without backspacing hence erasing your work. No error correction here. To conclude buy it to tap and play silly typewriter sounds till your fed up-after a minute delete it as it's utter RUBBISH!!!!!
Does the job, works well, bit pricey though!
This app is daft but very entertaining. When you type is sounds just like an old fashioned typewriter, it pings when you get to the end and you can email your letter or draft to someone and it comes up in the old style type face. It is just one of those apps that are highly amusing.
Crap App does not even begin to describe the horror that is this app! The fact that it is a 'Staff Favorite' beggars belief! No £ sign; No spell check; Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Absolute crap, far better with the original iPhone keyboard and it's functionality. miTypewriter does not have the £ sign nor autocorrect and is awkward to use, don't waste your money.
Nice little App and keyboard can be easier to use than the iphone one but trouble is the text produced can only be used in email, it would be of more use if it could be sent as a text or even used to enter data in other Apps. Plus there is no £ sign
It does work as described but I fail to see the point. It is more difficult to use than the standard keyboard and can only be used to email
....but it would be good to be able to attach items to the email. Also SMS support would be nice........ Follow up review: It sends your "letter" as an attachment. This attachment cannot be opened by a Blackberry bold 9700. I wonder what else can't open it. A little poor.......
This app is actually epic! I could sit for hours, well maybe not hours, just typing away like some 1920's secretary :) totally worth the money, fantastic quality app, no problems, very smooth response and well made.
