Mixxy - Cocktail Recipes

Crashes when searching, rendering this app unusable. Paid for Pro :/

Clicking on all recipes just gives me an error and then exits the app.

I was an early adopter of this app. I even purchased the pro tier because I liked it so much. But recently the app stopped working correctly. I can no longer access “all recipes.” The app reports an error and then crashes. I’ve tried contacting the developers through the app, the AppStore, their website, and even on Reddit. The emails are returned as undeliverable and no response on social. I really hope the devs are ok and have just moved on. Maybe they’ll open source their code so someone can resurrect it someday. Luckily I can still access my custom recipes which I will need to transfer to another app.

Lots of great recipes organized into fun and useful collections. The recipes are not overly complicated nor do they call for the most obscure and hard to find liqueurs. Beautiful photos.

Highly recommend getting the pro version so you can use the bar cart function to store your liquor cabinet items! Bartender functionality is great, click on items you currently have in stock or want to use and Mixxy suggests drinks you can make with those ingredients! Also love sharing cocktails with other friends on Mixxy!! Fun app!

Very nice UI and very handy for big inner cocktail makers like myself. Helpful to know what Ingredients needs to make drinks with what I have.

Before I was always put off by the “difficulty” of cocktail making and so I only really stuck to wine or beer. During quarantine I, like many others, decided I would try expanding my drink choices since I had so much new time at home. Tried this app and have been using it ever since! Recipes are easy to follow, the app is simple and intuitive, and it has a UI that’s great to use! Love Mixxy!

This app is awesome! It’s a must have for any home bartender, or anyone who enjoys cocktails in general. There are so many recipes included, each with a detailed description and steps for how to make them yourself.
