This App is requesting a 5-digit pin which I don’t have, it was previously a 4-digit pin. The developer doesn’t have a CONTACT US email and when you try to access their website it’s broken or offline... this is very poor.

I have had this app for years and it has helped me get into the habit of recording my surgeries in real time to prevent the last minute scrambling to prepare for ARCP. I don’t mind the price because the pain is worth it. However one problem that has arisen with the app in the past few years is that when it uploads to the online bank (that I have meticulously gathered since medical school, over 10years as I am a final year surgical trainee) some data is missing particularly the date of birth - so if I open a case in the online version I cannot log out of it because I have to add a date of birth. So to iterate when I enter the date of birth in the app somehow it does not upload online, which is upsetting because it will take great efforts to find this again, and avoiding this extra effort is the precise reason I bought the app! I have to make up a fake date of birth so I can come out/close the case. Please please developers fix this - because it is such a handy app that I usually recommend as essential to junior surgical trainees and medical students until this issue. There is no help link in the app so I have to write about this ongoing issue here. Thanks

When trying to upload my operations from the app to the main website today, I was informed by the app that my subscription has expired on 30/12/23 and I need to pay £11.99 for a new subscription valid for one year. I have tried to do so and it seemed to have gone through, although looking in my banking app I still can’t see that payment going through. Regardless, the issue is that after all this, the elogbook app stated something like my password is not good, so I changed it, but it still gave me errors. I ended up restarting my phone, then deleting and reinstalling the app, losing my operations for the past month, and it’s still not working. The error message is “Validation failed. Bad gateway.”

Don’t pay your subscription, what a waste has stopped working. Hope it gets sorted

Used to work fine but was prompted to pay my annual subscription fee today (£12 now). After this it would not let me upload cases / download favourites etc, and now won’t even let me log in, just showing an error message saying ‘bad gateway’. Hoping this gets sorted although I’m not hopeful given the apparent lack of any updates or input to this app for the last 4 years - not sure where the money is going!

Its a shame I subscribed and used the App for 3 year and now it stopped uploading anything , my subscription is for other 8 months ,

The app does not upload regularly and keeps crashing. I have been having this issue where it gives the prompt login failure. Was not expecting this immediately after I paid for the app.

Have sent multiple emails which have been ignored as I had to merge accounts for OMFS training. The app team are separate from the website elogbook team and they have also ignored emails from them on my behalf. Overall a very poor experience

£15 a year is a ridiculous amount to pay for such an app. Put it to a reasonable price instead of forcing people to pay extraordinary fees for a simple app. Come on!

This app has none of the surgeries I need to log. I might as well just be writing on a free note taking app or on paper and copy it to the PC version of the elogbook.
