MobileMonet turns a photo into a painted masterpiece. Pixels are replaced with brush strokes and the results are wonderful.
You are in complete control of the process. Pick from preset settings or adjust specific controls for brush size, grain, line intensity, etc. You can even brush on areas of paint.
Your creations are saved in a recent edit list for continued editing.

Color Photos import posterized in B&W. Impossible to work with your original photo. Total waste of money and time.

I love how the app gives photos a variety of “painting quality” styles. Friends love it when I send them images I created with Mobile Monet!
Rocky start, but really like the app
This is the first app I've had of this type. Getting it to do what it was supposed to do was not very intuitive. I ended up stumbling across how to use it but once I figured it out, the results have been frankly terrific. The filters are great. Like another reviewer said, it helps take an ordinary snapshot and turn it into what my vision was when I first saw it. I was bummed when the app no longer worked after a new IOS…but then they updated it and I’m rocking and rolling again
New watercolorist
I just started watercolor after many years showing interest. Being able to convert a photo into a painting is exactly what I needed to see composition, shading , and light. This app is amazing for this novice. I use it everyday - 5 star!!!
An oldie but goodie!
I pulled this one out of the mothballs and it’s still as useful as it was six years ago. Thank you for keeping it in the Apple Store.
Glitch
Any ideas? I can get my photo in and it changes but then when i go to edit it closes
