Just find a outlet
I was in port authority in Manhattan the only reason I got this was bc they decided to block all the outlets in port authority and this company was probably behind it

Have to use the local WiFi. Which is spotty. Will not connect on 5g. How is that even a thing? Hope I can return it, my battery went nearly dead trying to rent it’
Before I can even get to the issues I had trying to rent the power bank, I’d like to point out that if someone is looking for a power bank then there is a solid chance that their phone will be dead so maybe having your kiosk setup to actually rent directly from the machine would be smart. Even when I was able to access the app to rent a power bank, I was repeatedly told that there were no power banks available even though I was staring at 4 fully charged power banks ready in the machine. So yeah overall just sort of useless and dysfunctional.
Solid business model. I’m bars where people’s phones are dying. Card wouldn’t authorise. No ApplePay. Can’t really make any money if you don’t have a solid payment system. Bye. Never again.
My phone was dying and I desperately need to charge my phone at Union Station in Chicago. I wasted the rest of my battery trying to download the app and scanning a QR code before my phone died and I could not rent a charge. Mother cornflakes what a dumb system. Hopefully Union Station gets ride of this dumb product.
App got stuck trying to rent a cube twice: first time scanning QR code, second time when attempting to pay. But third time it worked.
I rented one at the train station and it fully charged my phone in a little over an hour. The app was easy to use. Well worth the $5.
Doesn’t work at all. It’ll do that thing where it looks like it’s charging and then stop after 1 sec and not even go up 1% !!!!!! Rip off!!!!! Tbh it’s only 2$ so I was ready to risk that much
i can't speak to the actual charging aspect. but you have to download the app to charge your phone. which, if your phone is dying may not be possible! anyway, i tried to use it but the app wouldn't work or load. i'd get as far as the 'sign up' page and then the app would just show a blank blue screen. nothing! my phone would've died trying to rent the charger. finally just walked halfway across the station and found an outlet.
Chicago Union Station kiosk - worked great and charged my phone to 100%… good option in a pinch.
