Description

The brand new Moms on Call app is the perfect tool for busy parents ready to calm the chaos and create predictable routines that actually work! Based on decades of pediatric health and developmental experience, we’ve designed a solution that allows parents to easily create routines, implement daily schedules and track daily activities–like sleep, feedings and diaper changes–without stress.
Whether you’re brand new to the MOC methodology or you have multiple children, you’ll benefit from our extensive Knowledge Center, Baby Basics Videos, Podcast and Store – all linked conveniently from the app. Brand new app features include sharing between devices and printable/shareable logs for quick caregiver reference.
TYPICAL DAY SCHEDULES
You’ll have access to Typical Day schedules for birth through 4 years of age. These schedules have helped thousands of families create predictable, loving and restful routines! We’ve added the option to customize these schedules for your family’s unique needs.
FEEDINGS
We support all types of feedings! This includes breast and formula feeding, in addition to solid food introduction as your baby grows. The app includes a handy feeding timer and the ability to enter how many ounces your baby took during a feeding. Plus, there’s a section to add custom notes you want to remember, like questions to ask at your next doctor’s visit.
SLEEP LOGS
Keep track and monitor when your baby sleeps–including naps and overnight. Sleep logs let you spot patterns and behaviors that can help your whole family get the rest it needs to thrive!
DIAPER CHANGES
As your baby grows from birth through infancy, your pediatrician may ask how many times you’ve changed diapers throughout the day. With a handy in-app diaper tracker, record poops and pees and everything in between!
MULTIPLE CHILDREN
Juggling multiple schedules for different family members is a breeze with the ability to add multiple children under 4 years of age in this app. Because we know that schedules shift when you add extra naps, meals, and other routines, we’ve simplified the process so that you can stick to the habits that work best for your family–no matter what size.
COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE CENTER
Jump over to our Knowledge Center for informative posts for 0-6 months, 6-15 months, and toddlers. We add new content weekly! Practical Baby Basics videos also show you things like burping, swaddling, nail clipping, and other health and hygiene tips in real life. Stress less with Moms on C

Moms on Call Scheduler Reviews

Nothing useful or free

There is zero functionality without paying a subscription to just make a calendar with the same schedule in their book. I bought your book, which was excellent and has great advice. The book promotes the app, which you can’t even try or test or see without signing up with a credit card. Not the way I do business.

Falls way short of expectations

Update: I have fumbled my way around the app and found where to edit and review logged activity. I had emailed customer service and never heard back. There is no in app tutorial so you’re on your own. The app needs an update. All navigation tools at the bottom of the page need up be pressed multiple times before it takes you anywhere. Not sure why it’s lagging so badly. ———————————- In theory this app is great, but it’s missing some critical access to data that other FREE apps have. You cannot review entries once you’ve made them. So if you’d like to see when your last feeding was or when you changed the last diaper, you’re screwed. Not sure why they ask for the time if they won’t let you see that information. It just keeps a running total for the day. You cannot pick between OZ or ML. The default for feeding is only in ounces. You cannot edit an entry once you’ve made it. Any tired mom knows you’ll make errors when you’re extremely sleep deprived trying to log something. Too bad for you though because you can’t fix it. To log an entry, you have to click the little plus sign instead of anywhere on the large rectangle button. Again, this is very frustrating when trying to record in the middle of the night with only one hand available because the other has the baby. You cannot look at previous days entries after midnight. You can look at years in advance of blank tentative schedule, but you can’t look back at anything you’ve recorded concerning your personal child outside of the current day. The app doesn’t have a widget so it is difficult to access. Other free apps you can log feedings, diapers, etc. from the Lock Screen via a widget. Hopefully someone cares enough to make these changes relatively soon to help the moms paying for this scheduler!

A little ridiculous..

I find it a little ridiculous that the app is advertised in the book as “free” then you’re hit with payment options as soon as you create an account. I just feel the books cost money, the online courses are all around 50-100$ , and now another resource you advertise costs more money..

I’m just getting started with this app

I have had this app for a bit but forgot about it. I just paid the subscription to use it but it glitches… the blog freezes and I can’t find the calendar for baby food. It won’t let me scroll down, definitely has a great potential but I have to constantly close the app and open it to be able to use some options because it just freezes.

Please improve the app!

As much as I love moms on call, the actual app is horrible. It crashes constantly, it sounds me out and acts like I did not pay for the full service, and when I’m finally logged in everything takes about 5-10 minutes to load or again crashes. It’s so frustrating.

Needs some updating

Hartim1019 on

I love moms on call and have used this method with my kids and it works. I am disappointed with the app. As mentioned in previous review you can tell it is a newer app and there are a lot of things to work out in it. For example… I wanted to customize my toddlers schedule and unless you add every single planned item that is on the regular moms on call schedule you can’t save your customized schedule. What I mean is unless you use all snack times that are listed (5 I believe) you can’t save the schedule. I was unable to figure out how to include specific times to the schedule also like 7am-8:30am play time. I could only set play time for 7am. Also, I deleted my toddler from the app all together and still receive notifications on that child’s schedule as if it was still there. The nursing side could also be updated. It has an overall time for nursing not specific to each breast. Also it has amount of oz baby took during a nursing feed?? How could you possibly know that. Not without weighing baby on special scale etc. Just a few things that I have seen so far. Again loveee the thought of having this app. But needs more work!

DO NOT PAY FOR APP

Do NOT download this app. Complete waste of my money and unfortunately I paid for 6 months subscription up front and I’ve only used it for 1.5 months. *** I switched to “what to expect” app because it is ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL and FREE. Do yourself a favor and get that app to track *** The app has a lot of potential but it is barely functional. Here are some of my complaints… - app will CRASH and NOT LOAD for HOURS which makes it impossible to accurately track diaper/feed/sleep - timeline of feed/diaper/sleep is jumbled any time you edit a previous entry - breastfeeding timer does not work as timer restarts randomly - no way to see timeline of all entries in one view - you can only view timeline of each individual category (diaper/feed/sleep etc) Incredibly disappointed with this app. I will be contacting support to submit my complaints and hopefully get a refund.

Like it so far - one glaring flaw

I like the app so far but it’s clear it’s new (ie some of the notes in the schedule aren’t filled out or it has swaddle prompts for bath time). It’s especially frustrating to me that I signed up for a subscription but my husband has no way to access the profile unless he also subscribes on his phone (unless I’m missing something??). We both take care of the baby, we both need to access his care information, so having to double up on a subscription doesn’t seem fair.

One paid license per parent

Kinda wild that they make you pay for the app and don’t allow your spouse to log in on their phone. Would think that would be nice to do!
