Monero Wallet by Freewallet

I deposited some coins there to test. Now I wanted to withdraw but can’t because my „Account has been suspended“. They are asking for my personal ID now and some other stupid and ridiculously verification process instead of sending a verification mail or 2FA over SMS or their app even if I never submitted any personal data in my freewallet account. Im never going to use this app again and be happy I only deposited a very small amount in it.

Anmelden leider nicht mehr möglich. Weder über Apple- Konto noch über Passwort-Rücksetzung. Laut App wird eine E-Mail an die Mail-Adresse gesendet. Schon oft probiert, leider niemals eine Mail von Monero-Wallet erhalten,auch nicht im Spam-Ordner. Kontakt für Reklamation nicht vorhanden. Katastrophaler Support. Nur für Leute, die den Nervenkitzel lieben!

I have been using this app for about 2 years, always has issues “missing deposits”, this last transaction I sent BTC to my “smart address”, never arrived, can’t get help from anyone at Customer support. This is not the first time, funds just don’t arrive. I’ve also tried generating a new smart address and it keeps giving me the same one, which is nowhere in my FW history. Just shady business.

I had this wallet for a few years and it worked fine. Then my phone was broken and when I replaced it I could no longer access my account w my simple phone number They asked me to provide I no longer had access too since finance is no longer accessible to me or wherever I got my Monero. Now I no longer have my Monero balance showing.

thought i should give them a shot again…still the same slow…irregular…and weird wallet. save yourself $100 and stay far away. worst wallet.

Like many others have complained in the reviews FreeWallet will hold your deposit/receive hostage. When I signed up it didn’t say anything about needing KYC to withdraw or send. Recently I tried to send my coins to another wallet and my account was frozen. They then asked me for KYC and 100 other things that they should not even have the right to ask for, I complied to all! They just keep coming up with something else they need ever time! Many people on here are complaining about $10-$100 be locked up, well they have $35k + of my coins locked. I am being forced to have to hire an attorney to recover the funds if any! Talk about a worst nightmare of an app! Customer service is terrible! 40+emails in thread and no resolution. Do not take a chance with even $1 of your coins, this company is the biggest scam in the market place! They need to be shut down and banded from existence everywhere!
