25-Aug-2019: I am having mixed feelings about the recent UI redesign and app updates. Have been using this app to track my daily income, bills and expenses since 2015. What made me purchase the pro version was the simple (not fanciful) design, with all the bells and whistles of Accounts, Budget, Income, Expenditure, Bills tracking and thoughtful settings for each. It also doesn’t require us to store our financial info online unlike other Budget apps. The new UI is too colourful for my liking. The art direction looks messy to me. Solid rings to denote cleared transaction vs greyed our rings simply do not cut it for me. There are bugs in the database conversion too. Account Name for old bills are not migrated correctly; they were left empty (although I believe there is no dire consequence). I had to meddle with SQLite DB to split my payees into new, separate accounts because Search results are not maintained when I switched to reconcile mode (I use this to check against my monthly credit bills). Lots of “unknown” labels all over my previous transactions (prior to the update) And graphics library for income and expenses are not aligned. Basically left with “?” for most of my Income items. The new design basically forced me to change the way I have been using the app for the last 4 years, and this is no good. I will try to adapt for a bit more and maybe will develop my own, if I cannot find an alternative to the good old trusted money monitor app. Not sure if it’s a good idea to roll out this ‘major’ update to those who didn’t ask for it. ———— 01-SEP-2019: I seriously appeal to the Developers/ Testers of the app to pull their socks up. The latest update fixed some bugs but introduced more?? Recurring bills records no longer recur. Creating new recurring bills does not copy notes to future bills. If this is meant to be a “feature”, please add to the change log! Viewing Budget report will crash the app as you navigate to previous months’ reports! Sigh.. I am really disappointed at this which used to be the best hidden jewel for budgeting and finance on the App Store. Accounts Report only shows that of Cash, Credit and Savings groups.

-Too many ads, which can be easily clicked with fat finger. -Last time no need to input payer or payee name and i still manage to see my note. Now all changes to UNKNOWN, and i can't see my note. -It is good to have exchange rate. But after new version kick in, my default currency change to USD, make me a shock when monitoring my accounts.
