MoneyStats - Budget Planner

I have been lost without Money Dashboard and have tried the most popular and top rated apps but none are able to show me the forecast of my bills and finances, which I heavily rely on to budget and manage my finances. I hesitated downloading this app as I usually go with popular ones but so far I have no regrets and can already feel relief that I can see how much my bank balance will be in 3 weeks time once my bills are paid. I’ll be deleting the other apps I’ve tried and continued to use in the hope that I would see the benefits in using them. The only downside is that it’s not connected to you account so you need to manually add your reoccurring payments and income manually but on the plus side you can manually update your current balance, which you can’t do with the other app if you want to deduct pending payments from your bank account. I’m new to using the app and haven’t used all functions but so far I haven’t seen a forecast graph, which is useful to have a visual of your finances.

...it annoys only the fact that 1. every time you change an expense's account from X to Y it then automatically switch to account Y in the previous screen 2. Similarly when you do a transfer from account X and Y it changes the underlying account to Y

I totally don’t understand how ppl rating this app 5*. I have paid for the app, so it’s not the free version and nothing actually works like it should. Tutorials in German, useless. Totally wasted my time and money on this app and nothing to be happy about. This is a honest review.

Hello everyone. I was looking for a new App, which has a one off subscription charge. I used MoneyWiz 2, but its not been supported by the Dev anymore as he has moved onto a monthly/yearly sub service. That app now crashes, every time I input a new cost. This app offers all the functionality of MoneyWiz 2. Plus you dont need to buy separate licence for your iPhone, iPad or Mac. It’s free. However, if you want to sync all devices, its a one off charge, to sync via iCloud, which is excellent value, compared to MoneyWiz 3. Recommend this App, for anyone who wants similar functionality as MoneyWiz 2, but does not want to pay ongoing charges. Update - May 2023. Still an amazing app with ease of use and really good for me, as I need to calculate £/€ which it can do for you, if you purchase a small add-on. Really good to track your expense/income. Only feature I would love, is a ‘Split-View’ option on the iPad.

It’s not very often I come across an app that suits my every need so extensively. The five star reviews are totally justified. It’s hard to detail everything that is great about this app because there is so much to it. It’s worth having a play around with to get to know the different components. I followed the instagram account as I found a lot of useful tips & advice on how to do things on there. Have made a couple of suggestions to Tom the developer & he actively responds to email. The free version is more than adequate for my needs however I choose to pay the very reasonable upgrade price as I believe it’s great value for money & worth supporting the developer for his amazing app.

Don’t get me wrong I still get confused but this is the app that I’m less confused than any other app.

Positive things - Graphs/charts are clear and useful - You can configure pretty much anything - It's simple to learn - It's cheaper if compared with other similar apps with a superior quality - I was using MoneyCouch before, but it can bend the knee to this one Negative things - I couldn't find any

So good so far, everything you could want in a budget planner and it makes it so easy to do it. So many different accounts and I love how you can make savings goals!!

Everything about this app works so well, I love the graphs and the way the budgets automatically work out how much they would be over different periods, and show an overall budget. The categorisation options also great with the ability to input a detailed list of information for each transaction. It would be nice if there was the ability to either create budgets based on hashtags (sub categories) or have multiple categories into one budget. For example I have three separate categories for food, (groceries, eating out and takeaway), and would like to be able to set just one budget across all three.

Keeps track of all my bank accounts and spending. Syncs well between my iPad and phone. I choose to manually input rather than have access to my accounts but once set up balances and regular payments it’s not too time consuming. Better than the rest of the apps I bought! Very useful I am on top of my finances and spending now.
