モントリオール 旅行 ガイド &マップ Reviews
Montreal
I already love Montréal! It is an amazing city and there is so much history. I love all the fun things to do such as old port, all the French and of course poutine! You cannot forget all the sites to see and being from Boston I am a bruins fan but I think that the bell center will be fun to see! Also everyone has been so welcoming and friendly to us Americans!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I have loved being in Montreal!😍😍😍
Annoying noises
The app generates a very annoying chirp like sound when reading through the guide.
Free App is Useless
The free app is useless. Other than information about Montréal, all pages require a paid version.
Waster of money.
I really want to like this app. I was hoping you would be able to click on the object and open directions in maps, but unfortunately you can’t. So upset, waste of money.
Very good guide
Very nice and very informative about the city of Montreal and around! Highly recommended!
Nothing useful in free version
Attractive, maybe even well designed, but vacuous in the free version. Also the about us is this useless info for Sydney...
Don't buy it
This application is a waste.
First, the map does not zoom to a level that you can read the name of the streets.
Second, the markers show icons where the places are located but does not offer the option to help you navigate from wherever you are to your desired destination. Even the markers for the metros stops don't have the names of the stops, so you are left with no useful information
Third, the maps,of the circuits of buses , train, and metro, are totally useless. You will have a better chance to understand maps in Japanese with you not understanding Japanese, that figuring our the crowded lines with a poor zoom option.
Last, I wish there were reviews BEFORE so I wouldn't have bought this useless crap. Even the written guides of the places seems to have been pulled out of a Google search, cut, and pasted by a 4th grade student for his elementary school project. I was fooled by the fact that it was created in 2016 and thought probably the creators of this app (if it could be called that) would have improved other apps created years before. WHAT A WASTE. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Nice concept, poor execution
This app is mediocre at best. Not at all worth the $3.99 I paid for it. First of all, it's very buggy on iPhone 6s (the nav button is halfway down the screen in a weird place). After purchasing maps and info for 1 city, it constantly tells me I haven't downloaded maps for other cities in Canada (that are 3+ hours away). Every single time you open the app this happens. It gives a shot description for each neighboorhood and lists attractions, but you can't link to the descriptions of those attractions. The "itineraries" are really just long lists of places to go with no descriptions or other info about them (where exactly they are, cost, time to visit, etc). There are maps, but you can't zoom in or see street addresses so it's virtually unusable without a secondary map with zoom. You could spend the same amount of time searching google for free and get better info. And of course, browsing the map and finding an attraction that way does NOT mean you can click on it and get to the decription for it, which may or may not be buried elsewhere in the app. Oh, and the "back" button usually sends me back to the home screen instead of where I just was, so it is very annoying to have to navigate back and forth between the map and individual descriptions every time.
The "offline" concept is nice and does work, but at least in Montreal is not necessary as most all public attractions have wifi. I have yet to visit an attraction here that does not have free wifi. The "metro app" section only gives a list of stations, so you have to already know exactly what station you are nearest to and which one nearest your destination. NOT helpful if you don't know the city and have no idea what that would be. Again, google maps is free and tells me exactly what trains/ busses to take from point A to B, so I can literally just type in a destination while connected to wifi and go. No figuring out where you are and what station is nearest. You have to figure out where you are every time, and then figure out which trains to take, and then how to get to each station, etc. What would I need this for when I could just be using a paper map (which would probably take LESS time)??
Have not actually tried the augmented reality feature, but if it also doesn't let you link to info about each place, that it is as useless as the other features.
I was hoping for some actual real info with this app (an actual itinerary maybe) but that is not the case. Save your money and use wifi and Google. Or s
Highly recommended
