Moodtrack Private Diary Reviews

App used to be great

I’ve had the free Moodtrack app for YEARS and absolutely loved and depended on it. Lately it’s been glitching so badly that it’s impossible to type in. I purchased the 1$ Moodtrack app assuming this would fix the issue and this app has the exact same problem. Please fix this issue because there’s still lots of us who depend on your app. Would be five stars if not for the glitch.

this app is truly where social media should be more heading with authenticity and not geared towards advantageously contributing to ones figmented self image. The human experience is developing through time no matter where u are and being conscious of where u r unstigmatized w/ being who we are. Also love the universality & insignificance of gender in how this apps designed. Older guys especially r stigmatized for expressing their own feelings etc. Thanks for alloting this type of environment in social media. The GUi however is very clunky/outdated and slowly responsive on even newer or older devices, ive tried them out. Thanks again, please update this app 💕 this is honestly the more morally equipped approach to social media imo. We need ppl to not curate their own identities socially because thats not how it works irl. Everyone is a fluid, not statically measurable process 💚

Strangers Reading Your Diary

I mean, aside from the weird Bible freaks that only seem on there to preach the word of God, it’s a pretty good app. I’ve deleted and redownloaded it a lot over the years, mostly deleting it due to me stopping my journaling. It’s a good app, and this time around I haven’t seen anything about God, so maybe those people actually got their own lives. It’s a good way to pour your heart out online, anonymously. You can back up your account with a fake email and set a password so you can journal anywhere. It’s like strangers are reading your diary, but in a chill way where they offer support. I’ve never seen a negative comment on this app, I think it’s remained troll free.

Please developer, don’t give up on Moodtrack! It’s been years since the app has been updated and I’m genuinely concerned for it. Provide us with a donation option if that helps Moodtrack survive, I sincerely want to help!

My favorite mood tracking app

my therapist suggested I keep track of how I’m doing so I played around with a few apps, this one is my favorite so far.

Great App!

It's a great app for people that want to have documentation of their moods. Each mood entry allows a star rating of 1 through 5. There is also an expanded section to write about the spefics of your mood and how or why you might be feeling the way that you do. This is a good app that can provide an excellent snapshot of your progressiion. The data entries display in the form of a line graph which I find very helpful. You have the option of making your mood entries public or private. If you can open up a little emotionally, I think that this is a great mental health tool.

Great idea but glitchy

jonas suggan on

Overall works pretty well and I’ve been using it daily for 3 years. However, the text edit function really doesn’t work well. And also after you put in a lot of data points (this typically happens to me about about a year) it just stops accepting new entries, even though it doesn’t give you an error message.
