What is the MoonBoard App?

App are as follows.

View problems.
Light up problems (LED MoonBoard required).
Easily and quickly add problems.
Simply sort and filter problems.
Grade and rate problems
Create multiple lists of problems (e.g. warm ups, favourites, projects, training routines.
Keep a log of all your MoonBoard sessions and monitor progress.
Login using your Google or Apple accounts.
Share problems and lists with contacts.

What is the LED MoonBoard ?
The MoonBoard LED system brings easy identification of problems to the MoonBoard. Beneath each MoonBoard t-nut position is an LED light, which is controlled by our MoonBoard App via bluetooth. When the user selects a problem on the App, the holds that make up that problem are illuminated by their corresponding LED lights.

Our new LED system gives users access to tens of thousands of MoonBoard problems in just a click and a swipe, making the MoonBoard training facility even more user-friendly and accessible than ever before. Multiple climbers can pair and control the LED system at the same time. The new V2 LED control box can illuminate the LEDs above and below the holds making it easier to locate the next hand or foot hold during climbing.

Moon Board Reviews

I can not login, even when I reset my password…suck’s

Just annoying, can’t believe that’s the updated version. Well it’s better than before.. but pleeeeease take a look at the kilterboard app. Super stressful using the app with more than 2 persons. Disconnect is required that someone else can connect is just a sad thing!

Could still improve

LLLLLLLLLORENZ on

The new buttons make sense once you know what they do. But why not + and -. Same amount of buttons and more intuitive. Now I want to be able to log a climb without grading it. I just tick it and repeat the grade that’s given therefore I will ruin the community grade. Why can’t I see my score in the profile…

Routes are gone

JakobsReviews on

Germany

I‘ve been using the moon app (the old and new one) for some years now. Today I was logged out, because something timed out. Now I cannot exclude my repeats. Or they are gone I don’t know. But the app only excludes less than 40 routes. And a lot of routes I am 100% sure I have logged are gone. That’s very frustrating if you paid 1300€ + for the holds … The community asked for an open source app for multiple years and the app just keeps getting worse…

Password reset doesn’t work

I reset my password three times and still can not login. Neither with my mail nor my username Why can’t I use it without login?

All climbs gone (solved)

All my logged climbs were gone… Adam from customer support helped me very quickly and made me aware of my two accounts.. He merged the logbook with the new account and everything is back to normal!

Not working at all

Not possible to sign up via Apple, nor with a normal mail addy =\

Bugs and bad features

Rf03628 on

What a bad piece of software: login, filtering and much more has so bad design or outright bugs all over the place. You want examples? When you log in, this isn’t possible via an email. You need to provide your username. But in case you forgot that username, there is no way to retrieve it (because you only reset the password, but you don’t get the username). Thus, you better remember that globally unique name you assigned yourself a couple of months or even years ago. And the filter function is so ill designed, when switching from one setup to another, some routes get displayed in the wrong setup. It’s really the worst app I’ve used for a long time.

I don’t understand it

Bombäse on

Germany

Why would you release an app that’s not done at all… it lags when you select filters it freezes Right now it doesn’t even open anymore. And making the old app not work anymore while the new one doesn’t work yet is simply incromprehensible for me. Nevertheless I love the moonboard more than any other board but this app just feels like a bad school project There was an update so the app starts now! Worked your way up to 3 stars now I’ll keep updating the stars as long as the app keepsgetting g better

Does not work

Systemshocker on

Germany

App only starts once. Then have to be deleted and reinstalled. And whenn running i see no advantage to the version before. But the old version cannot save routes anymore in logbook, because there is a new version. 😱why😱
