Good syncing across all task management platforms. Simple, does its job, manages tasks and time blocks across devices.
My life has never been more organized! Having morgen has helped me get a visual every morning of my upcoming general life and even any details that I have added, so I can be confident that I’m not missing anything important. It syncs up to all of my other calendars, for work and Gmail and can even connect to my Alexa so I can get a daily overview without opening any devices on my device free days. There’s an app that syncs to my MacBook, iPhone and iPad so I can open it on any of my devices. Totally 5 star in my experience!
As a service, the ability to integrate with a bunch of different task managers and calendars and then time block is great. The windows app is amazing. I'm assuming the Mac app is pretty good too. The iPad and iOS apps are a little lackluster--the UI is just a bit clunky and hard to use. Especially on an iPad which can accommodate a near-desktop class app experience especially with a mouse and keyboard attached.
Doesn’t sync well. Can’t do much compared to desktop version.
The app is nice. There are a lot of features from the desktop app that are missing, event editing doesn't have all the options, there's no week view, only workweek. One of my favorite features of the desktop app is the ability to "group" calendars in different views, easily accessible by using shortcuts. Bringing this to the app would be a game changer. And if the widget could display calendars independent from the app, it would be amazing. My favorite thing about this app is that the developers hear you, I posted a review about a bug and it was promptly solved.
Best app for visual people looking to manage time in a very productive and easy way. Visually plan when to do a task or event. There’s an ongoing list of stuff to do, then schedule those to-dos when you’re ready. If you can’t get to them, just pop it back in the to-do list or move it around in your week. Oh and when you complete a “task” you get to check it off(!!!) in the calendar view, which also archives it off the to-do list. No more having to manually delete or edit stuff. Took me three days, and downloading 6 calendar apps (with free trials), to find Morgan.. but definitely glad I kept looking. Btw: please watch the YouTube review video about Morgan!! The guy has been using Morgan for a year and has so much helpful input. I’ve been using it for a week and have become extremely productive(!)
I want to love this app - tasks, notion integration, calendar, scheduling… all great! But: there are some bugs / annoyances that still have me whip out Apple calendar most of the time. For example: dragging an event to a different time to reschedule will result in the event jumping down about 3 hours. I’d also love to see the days of the week as icons at the top for convenience, similarly to the Apple calendar layout.
There's a bug where if you drag events created in a different time zone than the current one, the event just moves to a completely different time than the one you dragged it to.
I read the reviews of this app, and they sounded somewhat promising, so I downloaded it directly to my iPhone to try it out. You can’t even begin to use the Calendar app on an iOS device unless you first download & register a desktop version, as well as create an account with Morgen to do so. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I already use Outlook on my PC & the description in the App Store for Morgan says that it’s compatible with most other desktop calendar programs. If that’s true, then why would I want to clutter my computer with ANOTHER separate calendar program just to synchronize with my iPhone? App deleted. I’ll stick with WeekCal. It’s looks similar to Morgen, but you don’t have to load a desktop app on your computer to use it.
