Has Both Potential & Problems

I really want to love this game. I really do. But infortunately, there are some major problems with this game. Probably the biggest problem is the controls. The game claims to have great controls. With all due respect, that's a bunch of malarkey. There are points where you need to raise a platform, and the controls are unresponsive at times. Adding to this is how many times the levers you need to use are where you pull up/down your notifications. Also, it's not exactly clear how to use every machine correctly. A TUTORIAL that covers all the gadgets you use in the game would help here, or at least provide hints in each level. And that leads to another issue: you can't control what direction you move. You can stop in place, but you can't back up and move left. You always move right, and you CANNOT JUMP. This goes against every instinct you would have in a platforming sidescroller. Another big problem is the ads. If you don't pay to remove them, they will pop up annoyingly often, even in the middle of a level. So the game forces you to cough up money so you can properly play the game. Ridiculous. Lastly, this game may actually be impossible to beat. I got to level 17, and I see no way to finish the level. HINTS would have helped here A LOT. Luckily, you can level select and skip levels. But... I am unable to solve levels 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 31, and 32. The rest I have solved. Would love to know how to use the machines that I don't see how they work. I will say this: The music is good. It's scary at times and fits the tone of the game. So what's my suggestions? 1) Add tutorials/hints in the game. 2) Fix the controls so you can move the same way you would in any platformer gane. 3) Instead of the remove adds purchase ($2.99), just sell the game for $1.99. It makes more sense that way. I rest my case here. Still gets three stars.
