Mortgage Calculator is an essential tool for home buyers, realtors, brokers, and those looking to refinance a current mortgage. Quickly calculate monthly payments for any fixed rate mortgage (can be used on other fixed rate loans including auto, credit card, etc.).
This easy-to-use tool allows you to:
· Input additional info. Enter a down payment amount, annual taxes and insurance, and any monthly fees to determine how they affect monthly payments.
· Determine price per square foot. Enter the home’s square footage to help you determine the best value per dollar.
· Create a favorites list. Save your calculations in the Favorites tab and come back to them later when comparing houses and loan options.
· See a payment table. Use the handy payment table to see an amortized schedule of all the monthly payments and how much interest will be paid over the life of the loan.
· E-mail quotes. Send calculations and tables to any e-mail address.

Such a great app
Comes in handy for all types of loan applications not just mortgages. I use it to verify car loan rates and payment amounts quoted.
Great amortization calculator
I’ve had this app for years and I think it’s overall the best out there. It’s simple to use and it’s free. The only drawback is that there’s no way to include extra one time payments, monthly payments, etc.

This is just a calculator ...there are so many online...I thought it's mortgage rate monitor
Great but fails at one important task
First, this is a great app that does the job it advertises. Second, this is a plain copy of the similar app designed by "SVT Software" (or something similar like that). I don't mind the copy as the app mentioned above is still a 32 bits app version which Apple will soon kill. BUT... even if this app does the same job, it fails, and it's where it's the most important, to format the email form well. The mortgage table/spread sheet is designed in a way that there are no lines in the raws, which makes it impossible to print, send to a client, etc. The numbers are just following on 30 lines, unreadable. If the email feature is fixed, this app is definitely a 5 stars but... will it be updated one day?
Easy App to use
One of the simplest apps available. Really easy to use and provides clear information when considering mortgage payments.
Pointless
You can't even add an extra payment or start date. Free apps are better than this one. Very disappointed!!
