Simple but useful
If you only have one mortgage or just need a loan calculator there are surely more sophisticated apps out there with more features (I’m a fan of Karl’s Mortgage calculator). BUT, if you have more than one mortgage (I have investment properties) this is the only app that I have found so far where you can enter multiple loans and see a cumulative total monthly payment and money owed. For each individual loan it shows what percentage you’ve paid off. This means if you also have a car payment, personal loan, etc., you can see everything together. It also allows you to back up data and share on multiple devices (with the Pro version). The only difference between pro and free versions is no ads. Some improvements that would make it better: -a way to input loan pre-payments. If you are someone who pays extra in principal monthly or whenever there is no way for the app to adjust. -the cumulative total should also offer the same data as the individual loans: percent paid off, click it to see compounded amortization schedule, etc. This would be really helpful and not that hard to program. -a way to export data in to a csv or Excel file. -a way to input current property values for each loan so you could determine equity (for each property and overall). This a very important part of the picture.
