NEURODIVERGENT HYPERFOCUS ADHD | AUTISM
✨ This app is sleek, simple and to the point. You can use it right away with little to no learning curve. I use the Move On Productivity Timer to help me stay on-task! ⏱ 👉🏾 How do I use this timer? 1️⃣ This timer helps protect me against my hyperfocus states (often lasting 3-8 hrs without breaks, which can lead to burnout and fatigue and set me back on my other deadlines). ⚡️📆 2️⃣ This timer also helps me take a large project (like completing bookkeeping and taxes for my business) and chunks these projects into smaller, feasible tasks. ✅ 3️⃣ Procrastination-Anxiety loops can be interrupted when I can simply encourage myself to channel my energy to one task for 25 min. One step at a time. 👟 4️⃣ I feel less shame knowing I started and completed an objective towards my time-goal (towards the project), instead of having emotional overwhelm and discouragement before I even start. Visualizing just a simple goal is easier to tackle than looking at an overwhelming, color-coded company Gantt chart with projected times for the next 6-12 months!!! Thank you Move On for keeping it functional and simple. 5️⃣ Move On helps me to literally MOVE ONTO another task instead of constantly flirting with perfectionism, precision, and order. I can correct my compulsive perfectionsim, Instead of wasting an extra hour on a task that only improves the overall project 2%. 6️⃣ My dopamine-deficit brain needs novelty, risk, and reward. So I set smaller goals to compete against myself (lol). I just add some calming or upbeat music and I'm ready to go! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * IDEAS FOR IMPROVEMENT FOR APP DEVELOPERS: ➡️ Simple and sleek gamification for objectives and goals reached (think sound effects and confetti when iphones send a "Happy Birthday" text or use a screen effect). 🥇 Continue the dopamine and mood booster by adding badges for hitting data markers or milestones (think Strava app). But nothing too deep someone gets lost in stats or looking too long at the pretty badges... lol ➡️ Keeping it sleek and simple is important. I know if I don't have a system in place...I end up wasting time creating one that ends up taking too long to use anyway! So continue to keep it simple! However, I wonder if there would be a feasible way to incorporate some level of groupings for common or repeated tasks. Even a simple icon or and - or dropdown arrow. Grouping Tabs? ➡️ Wondering if there could be a project-task calculator. 🧮 This is simila
