AMAZING APP best movie collection app I’ve ever used it’s completely free and add free and the interface is amazing Perfect app highly recommended
So far this is the best DVD catalog app that I found hands-down. I have hundreds of DVDs in my collection and this app is so efficient I was able to scan most of them in one evening. Other apps place limits on the number of DVDs you can upload but this one lets you load up to your hearts content. So far it hasn't asked me for a penny. My thanks to the developer!
I like this app, but there seems to be no way to interact with this from multiple devices. This would be a good addition… icloud?
Finally somehow to keep track.
An excellent program for keeping track of your dvd collection. Versatile in being able to input information manually plus ease of use scan capabilities.
You will love it!
This is an amazing app I paid for a previous app and they updated it so I lost my whole collection. I’m just curious why the movies aren’t in alphabetical order though,That would definitely be a great update. However I love the app regardless and FREE is my favorite word lol 😂
I’ve been looking for some time for an app that has a cataloging system the way I think it should be and this is it. Every field is customizable which is fantastic. At first, I was thinking there should be a steel book category when scanned in, an option for it was loaned out, etc. But really, it’s already there. Just add the tags you want and assign them. Using this system, I was finally able to correctly input that a movie has a DVD, Blu, 4K, and/or digital in Movies Anywhere or iTunes or wherever and any combination of those. You can then sort on any field, which we all know is critical and sorely overlooked. The artwork/covers can be customized and even added to which is great. This is especially needed when a steelbook is added. The covers are the right size also. With some other programs, they are like micro icons that you can’t see. There’s even basic info about the movie. It doesn’t have a full review system like others, but honestly, I never cared about stuff like that. I mean, I already bought it, I don’t need a whole synopsis of it again. The layout is clean and nice. Sorting options are there, too. As you can see, this is a good thought out app. Things to work on: 1. Better iPad support. I have an iPad Pro and the screen isn’t fully utilized. 2. The saving options. While I like I can save it locally, what would be awesome is an option to save it to iCloud. That way, for example, the iPhone and can save it and the iPad can easily retrieve it from the iCloud. Then, the family can get to it easily as well. Maybe like an auto sync or restore if backup is newer automatically option so the other devices easily have an updated list once setup. 3. An export to PDF and CSV option for those that don’t have the app or just to send to others. 4. This is me being a bit selfish, but some other apps like this allow for adding in video games. With the way this app is setup, I can see that being a natural add in. I would love the ability to add in Xbox 360, One, X/S games in digital and disc format. Also, Switch games. And, I suppose for those that have a PS as well. Thanks for a great app and it being free which is awesome and unheard of. Once I pass 50 movies (very soon), I’ll definitely be making a tip! Hopefully, that will encourage some work on my requests. Thanks again for making a catalog app with an easy, logical mindset.
This app does everything I was hoping it would. Graphics are great! It allows you to customize: - tags. Can creat your own to label disks as DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K (or combination if you own multiple formats, as an example) - able to change the movie art work! What a sweet option to use art work already in the app or can take your own picture if you wish. - search tags by genre, alphabetical, etc. Note: to customize your movie entry it took a little to figure it out. You select the “pencil” at the top and then touch/select the highlighted data field you wish to change… then “apply” and “save.” It has an option to label a movie as “recently watched”… but I don’t think it date stamps it so you can have a searchable list of rotating through your movies based upon last seen times. Am really impressed how easy it was to set up, download movies titles and to customize. Great way to create a visible list of your movies so the wife can easily scan the library and look at the movie art, movie duration, plot info, etc!
I don’t usually post reviews but this is an awesome app for movie collectors of all formats. First, it’s easy to add movies. You can use the barcode scanner for physical media or you can enter titles manually for digital media. For large collections, the PROVIDER feature is customizable which allows you to use it to catalog and find the locations of your movies. For example, you can use Top Shelf or Portable Drive 1, etc. Every aspect of the movie entry data is fully customizable. And I mean fully, allowing collectors to make fine adjustments to each entry. Second, the layouts of each of the screens are beautiful, practical, and functional. Finally, the best part of this app is the Home Screen. It makes daily suggestions for viewing. This is ingenious for collectors with huge collections. I often waste valuable time trying to decide which movie to watch from my collection. The Home Screen makes intuitive suggestions for me in various categories so I don’t have to waste too much time deciding. I absolutely love this feature. My only concern is that the app is free. There are no ads or subscriptions. And there are no limits to the number of movies you add to your collection. Sounds too good to be true. I don’t know how long this will last but I hope it stays free.
