Movieguide® Lite Movie Reviews

I was so grateful to find an app that firstly appeared to be of Christian origin and secondly, provided so much detail about whether or not a movie used God or Jesus Christs name in vain and poof: just as of last week, every review has been modified to state there are PROFANITIES…. Really sad and utterly disappointing.

This is the best Christmas movie of this Season so far. Honors God, Veteran's and family. Great family movie. I will watch again.

I was looking for the mha series but it was only the 3 movies plz add the series

Important to know they rate movies based on their fundamental Christian beliefs and therefore disparage any progressive or positive diversity content.

The Movieguide content is amazing and the app is super easy to use!

If you are very Christian and things like Harry Potter are offensive to you, this app is what you’re looking for. For the rest of us, this guide goes way too far with criticism of anything that’s not The Passion of Christ. Should just be labeled that way.

I use Movieguide for most of my movie watching. Honestly sometimes their review is over the top but I at least can know what I am getting into before starting a movie. There are number of bad reviews for this app complaining about search. The search is located at the bottom bar. And it is clearly visible. Not sure why all the fuss is about negative reviews? If you thinking to install this app, please do so. You will not regret it.

The all established rating system is already Serviceable however if more information is Needed visit the ESRB ratings website for Video game ratings or common sense media for TV and film ratings.

I am so disappointed in the explanations. They cut off before the end of a sentence. The sexual content is definitely not warned about enough. I can’t trust this app.

This app has a strong bias, unlike commonsensemedia.org. If you like a more contemporary - stay away from this app!
