Moving Van

Just the right level to keep track of everything you are packing and easily find anything later. Wish we had had this app a few years ago.

J'ai déménagé il y a plusieurs mois et je continue à utiliser cette super application pour retrouver des objets mais aussi pour ranger et stocker. Je sais ainsi ce qu'il y a exactement dans chaque boîte de rangement. J'adore. De plus le SAV est vraiment au top. Merci Moving Van

Me basant sur la célèbre accroche publicitaire, j'ai cherché et trouvé cette application (la seule à ma connaissance) vous aidant à planifier votre déménagement! Très simple d'utilisation, elle permet de tracer, chaque objets et chaque cartons durant toute l'opération. J'en suis ravie! Il ne manque plus que l'option "impression d'une étiquette" qui nous permettrait d'estampiller toutes les infos sur chaque carton. Elle est seulement en anglais pour le moment...

Good app

I have used for 2 moves now, I like that I can write exactly what is in a box and take a picture. Then I can search for items later and know what box they are in.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. When I use the app to take a photo, the screen is black and takes black photos. My normal camera works just fine.

I love the simplicity and ease of using this app for moving & inventory purposes. I used it back in 2013 to move across the country, store everything for a year, then unpack in my new home. We’re planning an upcoming move and I want to use this again. I’m sad they don’t keep it updated anymore. I can’t find another app like it.

This app has a lot of potential, but suffers from the lack of a multi-select option. Once boxes are packed, the “in transit” status usually applies to EVERYTHING.. who moves one box at a time? Sharing across devices would have helped, since households have multiple people. And sorting/filtering by status, not just rooms would be really useful. And the app kept crashing on me in the middle of entering things, making it nearly unusable. I found it useful for getting and staying organized early in the packing process, but abandoned it when moving day came. Was pretty much worthless for UNpacking, because there was too much to do.

Our last move included almost 300 boxes and 2 to 3 people packing all the time. We perform this task on paper and it worked fine. The problem with doing it with this app is that you only have a single phone with a single inventory that cannot be shared. Everything has to be entered on that one device to have a single database. You could have multiple phones but there would be no way to combine those databases later except by merging the CSV files on the computer. This should allow a shared database or a way to import a CSV database from a computer. Automatic box numbering would also be a good feature. As would automatically moving to the next field. As it is you have to create a box name the box and then click a button to add items to the box and create each item to add to the box. It works but it's rather clumsy. Currently new boxes are added to the bottom of the list, so when you add a new box you first have to scroll to the bottom to make sure you're not adding a duplicate – there is no duplicate detection. It's a nice start, it still needs work

Could use a couple of tweaks .
