Does it take too long to open a website? It’s 100% because the VPN silently disconnected in the background. Haven’t had any problems in weeks? It’s 100% because you forgot to re-enabled the VPN last time you had problems. This is the reality when using Mozilla VPN.
The app on the mac laptop works great, but the iOS app is somewhat buggy: it just refuses to connect and even reinstalling won’t help. I found a workaround for this bug: choose “Select location” on the home screen and then tap the refresh button for recommended locations and reattempt to connect. Nevertheless, this should be fixed.
Generally speaking, it works well enough. Whenever I have connection issues, or my mobile payment app doesn’t work, it’s 100% always because this VPN needs to reconnect. These connection issues just happen silently in the background, and they are very random. When I go shopping, I will never know if I’m actually disconnected and my payment will never go through.
