Is MSR Tasks legit?
⚠️ Warning: Multiple users of MSR Tasks have mentioned scam or fraud. Investigate thoroughly before using this app.
Love this app ! Have made over $370 so far sense I first became a frequent user . All of the “ missions” you complete to get paid are super easy , not very time consuming at all( especially compared to general survey apps) and you get to pick and choose which missions and which / how much of your personal data that your comfortable with sharing for potential rewards they willing to pay you . I’ve had 0 issues , you only have to earn $10 minimum to cash out . I use PayPal to redeem rewards but they have other options to. Usually receive my money in my PayPal account within 10 mins after cashing out , if not than up to 30mins at the longest ( however that is extremely rare) . I highly recommend this app it’s legit and worth it and one of the best I’ve come across and also in the top 5 which I have earned most money from . The only issue I have is that for over the past year or 2 the “tv surveys “ has not / quit working but it still shows up on my feed which is a bummer bc I liked taking them daily and was a good way to rack up points as they are low paying but doing daily would add up quick and only took about 4-5 mins to complete. Would be nice if you could fix that or if not then delete from Fred and put a new job/mission in its place ( one that actually works and can earn from) bc at this point it’s just wasting space that could be better utilaized
Actually a real and paying out app
I thought this was a scam and not real but it’s real, I’ve earned 20$ through my PayPal and tasks are very simple and fast to do, the only downsides is the tasks that pay high usually take around 2 weeks to reset but the payout is very good
Great app
App good for earning gift cards with fun activities!
Love this app
This app help me when I needed the most I made over $800 plus in 2024 and it help me get food and all I needed I am going to continue using this app all of 2025 and I hope everybody installed this app because I play games that was scam and this is not a scam and no, I’m not getting paid to do this this app is really legit
Actually Works
Works!
I have used them for years
This app is excellent to use. I get about $10-$15 in exchange for my data. Sometimes they pay out less than I would like to, and sometimes for a very limited time they pay quite well. The trick is to subscribe to their emails so that you are always in the know of their promotions.
Legit app
I’ve been doing tasks for almost 3 years and have been paid out every time I’ve reached the minimum. Sometimes a task won’t work for me, but it’s rare, so I think they’ve managed to fix whatever the issue may have been. Tasks are super easy and take minimal effort to complete.
App is buggy and the developers are scammy
MSR used to be okay because you could actually make some money, but as time goes on they keep changing the rules and it’s harder and harder to earn points. Developers have proven themselves to be scammers. The app also has a ton of bugs which never get fixed.
UPDATE: Wow, it keeps getting worse every week. It’s like they break it on purpose or they’re not very talented.
UPDATE: Was trying to give the benefit of the doubt but it’s glaringly obvious this company is cheating users. My guess is they are going out of business because their surveys are a joke and their retros don’t provide value. What company would keep paying MSR for their data? It’s a dwindling business model. Starts off great and slowly ends in not making enough money to do payouts to the user base. We’ve seen this before with Drop and Crowdtap, to name a few.
UPDATE: I’ve finally had it, the final straw has been drawn. This week they are pushing their luck with not paying out for retros, accusing users of not being active users of these apps. This is borderline fraud and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I encourage everyone experiencing this to file a complaint.
Apple should remove this app from the App Store. It’s up to us users and Apple to create a better online experience for everyone. These types of companies, once exposed, should be pulled immediately. The 5 star reviews also seem fake, like the employees of the company are writing them with a few new users sprinkled in who are just happy to make their first $10.
It’s unfortunate this business model never pans out. Would like to see an honest competent company provide a way for users to benefit and if the company begins to struggle finically exit the arena with dignity instead of pissing off the entire iOS user base. Because who cares about those Android users, right? Apple users deserve the best user experience and sadly too many of these companies believe it’s their right to keep operating here. Maybe that’s why MSR just deployed their web-based version because they know they will eventually be kicked off. Bunch of scammers if you ask me.
UPDATE: Looks like everyone is realizing the problems this company is having. It’s a real shame they took the road of greed. Not quite as vicious as Crowdtap has been but when more people get banned for no good reason they will have reached that level. I don’t see the point of giving this company my personal data for peanuts. Takes at least a month or more to cash out $10. The
