Well designed app
The app is pretty, and builds on standard interface elements. Far more comfortable to use than any alternative apps. The scanning feature is reliable and fast.
Seriously great app
Lion's Eye is fantastic. The search functionality is unbelievably flexible and there's so much information easily at your fingertips through the nice, clean UI. Deck building is a breeze with both cards you own and cards you don't, and you can organise things around mana values, types, colours, versions, costs; basically anything you could possibly need. Unlike so many apps these days, Lion's Eye also respects your data privacy, with no tracking or ads. In addition to all of that, the app support is amazing. I had some problems with importing my collection via CSVs (not issues with Lion's Eye, they were technical problems at my end) and Orlando was incredibly responsive and helpful: he put loads of work in to assist me and everything got sorted really quickly. This app has everything a serious MTG card collector needs in layout and functionality. If there was a way I could give it more than five stars I would. Highly recommended.
Now charging a subscription for feature already paid for.
Another update has come, and the developer still hasn’t put back or given lifetime subscription to those who paid for this app and it’s functionality in full, before switching to a subscription model. We paid for the app in full and you removed that functionality and are now charging us again. I see threads on twitter and Reddit calling you out, I’m glad people are taking notice. At least notability did the honourable thing and backtracked when they did the same. This developer has done no such thing.
