I don’t know why this app was created if there’s no real reason to use it. No place to input times/reps/weight, calculators don’t work, no link to exercises. I always end up just using the website since that’s the only place I seem to be able to get the minimal functionality I expect. Make this useful other than “here’s your exercises” or reconsider why you have an app
My thoughts
It’s a great app all around. I just wish that it had a spot for the community to post and it had a nutrition tab so it didn’t take you to the website every time. Other than the app is good.
Internal Server Error
App worked fine for years, but now it won’t load my workouts. Just says internal server error at the bottom.
Terrible
It is absolutely shocking that such an outstanding organization as MTN pushed out this app as their official app. This is the end of 2019! To call this app rudimentary is to give it too much credit. Without bringing up another name in this review, MTN app developers should probably review the functionality of the app of another similar organization which name starts with S.
Not worth the download
The notes section doesn’t save notes the next day. I’ve now lost track of my numbers from the assessment - so that’s pretty wonderful. Other than that, it is basically just a link to the website and just takes longer than going to the site itself. Not really sure what the point of this app’s existence is.
App review
My review is solely based on the app. The workout programs themselves are phenomenal and I highly recommend them to anyone serious about training with a purpose. The app leaves a lot to be desired. As previous reviews have stated, it is lacking built in calculators and the ability to take notes on the plans directly. I think that a gif option of the workouts would be fantastic for those who often have to work out in places where cell service and internet connection isn’t always possible.
Great Workout Programming
MTI will get you ready for any physical challenge. Highly recommend them for whatever you are preparing to do. Giving the app 4 stars though because it needs just a little more functionality. Would be great if we could actually interact with the workout schedule directly, make notes in the plan. Would be great to have all the calculators built in as well. Last thing would be to have gifs of the exercises that could also be downloaded, no need to wait for a stream to load on gym wifi.
Best training plans out there.
App works great. Nice and simple to navigate with excellent programs.
Finally!!
I’ve been waiting for this like many others to make these fantastic plans even more accessible. Nothing overly fancy, it’s exactly what it needs to be. Many thanks and keep this train moving!
Fitness At Its Finest
Fantastic execution and it has the most
important part: exercise demos! Because the naming conventions, while great, require constant reference if you’re like me and partially brain dead.
The app itself really makes looking at your training week a breeze compared to looking at the website on your phone that resets in dimensions constantly.
Awesome job, dudes!
