I have been looking for something like this for almost a year! I didn’t want to pay for Acapella to only find I didn’t like it, and Acapella does not work on Android. Pros: -It works! Tracks are synced with no issue. -Mudeo works across iOS and Android platforms! -UI is fairly intuitive -Allows 3 minute recordings -Open source -Videos can be downloaded locally for further editing in iMovie or otherwise for sharing elsewhere. -Syncing tracks. Well I haven’t had problems. But there is a way to modify them to sync -open source and free -Developer is quick to respond -uses MP4 format for video, not proprietary. -Easily create columns, rows, or grids. -Easily adjust gain of each recording (no equalizer) Cons: -A little buggy - it crashes when I select save sometimes. -We realized 3 minute limit when it just stopped recording. Just need something to communicate that. (enhancement) -Cannot import local video from iOS photos or iMovie to work with or add to. (enhancement) -Downloads don’t seem to match what is up on the mudeo server. As in when I use the link to view or view in browser, the collaboration is played. But when I download, I only get the original (no collaboration) posted video saved locally. Weird. Worked around by using a Video downloader. Other thoughts: I cannot comment on sound or video quality, it isn’t great, but not bad. That may be due to limitations on phone or file sizes? There are no frames, watermarks, or other wizbang stuff, but that’s fluff. All in all. Great app!
