Purchased a day pass but then the app wouldn't open, saying I needed to reinstall it. I tried reinstalling and restarting my phone but the app wouldn't open. Another friend with iphone has the same issue, needed to use another friend's Android phone to ride
Well, I can’t actually review an app that doesn’t work. This app is stuck on the splash screen. I’ve deleted and reinstalled this app for ‘nth time and it’s still stuck on the splash screen. The splash screen deserves 1 star otherwise this app deserves none.
It’s fine, but often the app won’t load. It just gets stuck on the loading page for a long time. Not great when loading the app is the only thing that stops you from getting a ticket

This app shows a startup animation. AND THATS IT. Buy tickets? No, you can’t buy tickets with it. I juat told you: it shows an animation. If you think the animation will eventually end and it’ll let you buy tickets, nope. It just shows you an animation forever. No other features at all. however long you wait, your bus will come and go without you ever having been able to board, because you could never buy a ticket, because this app does nothing but show you an animation. Another stellar job from SF Muni.
This app literally never works. So make sure you have a loaded clipper card. Because the SFMTA does not care if this doesn’t load to show proof of payment. They will ticket you $75.
Will only work on WiFi but no data which is not helpful because we only have data outdoor
prepurchased cable car tickets. when it came time to use, the app kept crashing and the email confirmation link also failed to open. it was down for over 8 hours and was tried on multiple devices in multiple areas. my family rode from union square to fisherman’s wharf, spent the day there, and rode back to union square… the both app and email link were down the entire time. save yourself the headache and just pay cash once you get on board the cable car (it’s $8 per ride per person). i’ve contacted customer support via twitter and email but have yet to receive a response. i’m guessing i won’t be refunded.
