It’s not sktchy’s fault, I guess, and more to do with so called art now being available on social media. This has meant that some very lame art is circulating. It’s the dumbing down of the art world. Sktchy attracts cartoonists as well as some genuinely good artists. It’s also primarily for representational artists and very conventional artists. Nothing wrong with that, but it means even the bad ones are elevated, by mass public opinion, in place of more interesting art. Good for portrait reference photos but even then, the poor quality of many of the photos and their inappropriateness as references shows me this is an app for Sunday artists.

Inspiring app that allows interaction with global artists, provides inspiration supplied by the artists, great tips and lessons, and an avenue to showcase your work and receive feedback. Really enjoy the personable feel of this app and could be on it every day for hours if I had the time!

Not only is this a great resource for pics to draw from but you get to see work by amazing artists. A great caring, sharing community. Love it, thanks so much for making it available 😊 My only complaint is that you now have to pay for access to their events and that is the only way to see the previously free videos of other artists sharing their tips and processes.

Love seeing the sketches the community creates. Great place to practice drawing everyday. Pushing you to try references you don’t normally take on.

I really this app it's just a great way to improve your drawings and there's some really good artist to follow and learn some new techniques and more there's so much just in one app I love it.

Love the latest update! The simple concept of providing inspiration for artists and in return portraits for users is superb. This was already my favorite art app, but the new functionality with the menu has made using is even simpler and smoother. Well done Sktchy!

Awesome app for all who enjoy creating, join a great art community. I love it, warning, can be addictive. Newest update better than anything, would be great if on each piece of work you could see if the muse is following me.
