Still a fun game, but after picking it back up again recently the single player mode has been hidden behind a paywall even though I had previously played through most of it.

2 stars because I haven’t deleted it….yet Even once you pay for the app you still get bombarded with in app purchase ads. I understand pay to win for online is pretty standard nowadays but even for the campaign I can’t see how you can win at any of the higher levels on harder difficulties without buying upgrades. You can set it to easy and progress but there is little resistance by the ai. Set it to hard and it is more challenging but in most levels you start with half the force of the enemy and you get swarmed. Not very balanced and the amount of in app purchases is over the top.

You’ll have fun for a while but eventually be matched with opponents who have all levelled up to the max. This would require thousands of hours of game time or hundreds of bucks frustrating to say the least. Developers try make matching making more fair ie make skill levels at least a little more balanced!

About to delete for the second time. Can be fun but 80 % of game is how much money you have spent. Not skill based.

Another pay-to-win game (plus tons of ads), which is fine but this game requires too much dedication and expects you to spend significant amounts of money and time. The game is not fair and has a steep learning curve. It is designed for paying players to easily smash other players who get frustrated, pushing them to start paying as well. It has attracted a community of hostile and immature players, even providing childish taunting gestures within the game. Tip: don’t buy the single-player campaign, it’s useless and unnecessary. Winning depends mostly on powerful abilities and upgrades that you need to purchase rather than actual skill. Other factors to win include pure luck, strong partner and map-specific strategies that you need to learn through numerous hours of playing (and mostly losing). Ultimately the powerful player is more likely to win regardless of their opponent’s skill. The game is filled with ads and aggressive annoying sale popups with the “buy” buttons placed right at common finger locations for you to accidentally press them. The ads are quite lengthy and sticky, to exit an ad you have to aim at the right pixel, more often you will mis-press and be taken to the advertised link, some of which are scams. There is also an overwhelming amount of different currencies for different specific purposes. You can buy anything with real money of course. Don’t spend your hard earned money on it. Almost all game updates are money-grabbing sale events that introduce more bugs which never get fixed. A common tactic the game does is to release an expensive overpowered ability or hero for paying players to buy and smash others with, after generating the expected revenue another update will normalise the overpowered ability and offer it on sale. Updates that claim to “rebalance” the game only favour big spenders rather than true fairness. Conclusion: Don’t play this game unless you plan to buy expensive items (talking hundreds of dollars) and spend numerous hours playing (losing) and watching ads. Save your time, money and protect your peace, you’re better off doing something productive, find a better form of entertainment.

I have been playing off and in from past couple of years. I have started playing again and it is soo interesting and addictive that i have bought all 4 seasons again on a new account. I don’t know about everyones choice but if you like strategy games then this is the one for you.

I don’t want to wait to play the game because I’ve run out of energy and the amount of ads that you have to watch to get enough gems play more games is WAY TOO MUCH. The multiplayer mode is basically not free if you want the freedom to play whenever. Especially if you have favourite characters. Paying makes you way tougher than other players it’s even advertised in game saying that if you want to dominate you should buy premium. Do not respond saying it is fair because it is not at all. Bad connection sometimes the game stops due to connection issues. Those who buy are much tougher and you need gems to recharge your abilities, gems are really hard to get unless you have premium then you can just use your abilities for free unlimited. Insanely unfair and unbalanced. I don’t understand how this game has 4 star review. Does no one make real games anymore? Developers are very dishonest and manipulative. Saying that they have balanced the game. They have not at all! This game is a money making machine for them. You are also constantly paired up with players who have paid, it shows in their username! After years of playing I am finally uninstalling. Extremely disappointing.
