If you have small children that are just starting to learn things like colors, you may be somewhat puzzled as to the best way to go about teaching them the colors of the world. Be puzzled no more, because the best way is with "Music Color" for your touch device.
"Music Color" is almost alive. It's an incredible combination of a kid-friendly interface, astonishing imagery and classical music. Those three elements combine to produce a spectacular product that is unlike anything else seen on the App Store.
The sole purpose of this app is to educate. To be more specific, it educates your children in a very specific field – color. What they will see upon opening the app is a palette of colors. Simply tap any one you like and you will dive into the world of that particular color.
Let's take Blue for example. Tap blue and you will see cartoon-style objects that you may associate that color with, like the ocean, or a blue umbrella. There are 9 objects for every color. When you tap each object you will be taken on a journey around the world with spectacular photos of where these objects are found.
Not only will you kids love it, but your jaw will literally drop when you see some of the photos. And for each object, there are 5 photos. So if you do the math, 12 colors, 9 objects per color and 5 photos per object, which equals a staggering 540 incredible photos!
Overall this app will entertain you just as much if not more than your learning child. With so many incredible photos to explore, you’ll love sitting down with your kid to show them what colors are all about.

Music Color Reviews

My son loves this

ElJayDubya on

My 3 year old loves these apps but has taken a particular shine to this one, he really loves the classical music. He is autistic and the app is just perfect for him, he chooses the colours he loves and lingers on the music he likes, he figured out how to use the app straight away. Well done to whoever created this!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My autistic son (3,5yrs) loves this app

The combination of great visuals, simple navigation and classical music make this a great choice. It's a great way for my pre-verbal son to learn the names of things and their colours, while listening to music he really enjoys. I wish there were more like it!

Relaxing and educational

Snowdrop26 on

I love this app. The music is relaxing and calms my daughter down. I like listening to it too. The fact that there are no spoken voices enables us to look at the photos together and talk about the things we see. I guess for those that do want voices you could include them and have the option to switch them on or off. The photos are wonderful and help to introduce topics such as firefighting, professions and crossing the road safely. It is the only app we have that I will happily let my daughter look at when she needs to wind down in the afternoon.

Good but can be improved

I like these apps and my 2 year old loves them. It's great for him especially being bilingual. BUT why isn't there a voice saying "red bus" or "yellow duck"..? Feels a bit pointless with just words for the colour and that's it.. It would make it more fun, and better learning if you add descriptive words as well..

Lovely ap

My 2 1/2 year old son loves this app and it has really helped him develop his understanding of colours

Not as good as sound touch

Jennywren12345 on

Having got The sound touch app (which is fantastic!), I am a bit dissapointed with this. It would be much better if when the toddler pressed on an image, that it said what it was: I.e blue car, blue dummy, yellow bus etc etc. I just don't feel like he is learning anything by seeing the images in a particular colour, without The words being spoken to them. Also not sure what relevance the music has (although it is quite relaxing!). Please improve this app and then together with The sound touch, we could have 2 really educational apps that our toddler always asks to play. Thanks!
