Music Rhythm Trainer Reviews
Really entertaining way to practice rhythm!
Music Rhythm Trainer feels a little bit like guitar hero but just for practising reading rhythm notation, it’s really fun mini game and super satisfying trying to tap in time. Also there’s *heaps* of note combinations and exercises, lots of content to practise.
P.S. Make sure you aren’t using Bluetooth headphones or speakers because the lag from Bluetooth spoilers the timing, use the phone speakers or wired headphones instead.
Bad
Just bad it’s hard and doesn’t help me
Just started but it’s good
The first time it’s very good
A good app but too easy?
Take my rating with a grain of salt because I only spend about 5 minutes using the app. It seems useful and the rhythm tapping registers nicely. There are several modes that can help with aural skills and would be beneficial to practice.
My issue is that I took the placement test at the beginning and it put me at level 166 and I don’t see more levels. Maybe it could be more challenging?
There no counter
If you dont know the count or cant get it theres no way to get it and all you end up doin is guessing when to hit it not actually learning to count the beats
Best Practice
This is amazing. I struggle with keeping rhythm and this is the best way how to overcome the problem.
👍🏻
It’s super great for new learners it really helps me I suggest you should download it
This app makes me better at rythm
Download this app because it can teach you how to get better at rythm and it can actually help you learn some stuff. I mean music is good to learn because it can make you become better at math and stuff.

First rate, perfect, now work on your timeline. Do it
Good for beginners, not useful for experienced people for free
This app is cool, I like it quite a lot. I tested out of the entire app though by getting a perfect score. It brings you to lesson 166. I did the lesson, but you’re only able to do listen and repeat and then reading. You have to pay to practice writing and whatever 2 hands is.
The infinite mode is fun, but it seems like everything is in 4/4. Also in the one 3/4 exercise I did in 166, there doesn’t seem to be an option to change it to a different hit on 1. Perhaps this is intentional to practice counting, but even DCI lines practice with delineated metronomes when they’re drilling stuff. The 10 minute limit is fine for the free version, it’s already limiting enough, idk why you’d charge $5 a month, it should just be a single charge.
Overall this is indeed a fun app and it’s cool, but if you already know how to read and you’re an experienced musician, you’ll run out of things to do on it instantly and the price point is way too steep to warrant a more fun way of practicing, especially since you can practice by charting music in something like Muse of Finale for free (which is how I taught myself to read music when I was a kid)
