Music Speed Changer allows you to change the speed of audio files on your device in real time without affecting the pitch (time stretch) or change the pitch without changing the speed (pitch shift). Alternatively, both tempo and pitch may be adjusted together with a single control. The player is a music looper as well - you can slow down song speed and loop sections of the music for easy practice.

The simple to use audio editor is integrated into a music player with playlists, playing queue, preamp, blance, equalizer, and effects. You can use Music Speed Changer to create new tracks or use it as a real time audio manipulation tool, on-the-go correction tool, and as a music learning aide. It is a musician's and music lovers' complete all in one pocket tool and music player.

As a learning tool, the app helps you slow down and loop difficult parts and raise or lower the pitch of any music to suit your range. Alterations can be saved to a new audio track. The editor features A/B repeat looping, key and BPM detection, and the ability to bookmark parts of tracks by setting markers. These learning tools make the app useful for students and teachers of music, dance, language, and academic subjects.

The app's real-time editor is fully integrated into the music player with the ability to affect its playlists and queue. This means you can play your entire music collection with an upbeat tempo for working out and running or slow down and reverb a selection of your music collection for relaxing. The included audio effects help you create new and interesting soundscapes for taking nightcore and slowed + reverb to the next level.

The Pro version of the app comes with automatic formant shift for natural voice tone correction and independent formant shift controls for creating audio effects.

One thing I want improved

REALLY GOOD I LOVE MESSING WITH MY ORDINARY LIFE But can you add lyrics to it so I can find where the chorus is?

PERFECT

Brilliant piece of kit

I use this to play with jam tracks that I’ve purchased . It’s a brilliant app which allows me to create play lists from tracks that I’ve downloaded.

Great but buggy

Really useful in principle, but any time I buy a song from iTunes to get it in the “unlocked” list I have to delete and reinstall the app to get it to recognise it. Really frustrating, hence 2 stars instead of 4 or 5.

Does everything I need to learn the more complex guitar parts.

Random pauses

The concept of the app is very good and I was hoping to be able to use it for controlling tempos of loops at live events. however when I use an aux for the app, random pauses happen in app. Since these issues I can’t use it.

Great for changing tempo of an accompaniment

I have a huge number of backing tracks stored as MP3 files. The trouble is that one provider of the tracks seems to play them faster than my singers are comfortable singing them. I’ve only been using this for a short time but, so far, it seems to do everything I want it to.

Rubbish

This app is absolutely not good you can’t even play your own added files or videos of your own sounds or even simply play them.

It’s not bad but you can’t control the pitch and others on locked songs though

I use this to play music for practising drums. It’s really robust and simple to use, really useful for slowing music to practise and then build up speed. I tried several similar apps before settling on this one as the best. The free version is really good with ads that are visible but that don’t interfere with functionality but I paid for the app to support the developer as I was so pleased.
