Musora: The Music Lessons App

I have been a fan of the app so far but unfortunately the app is not working since a couple of days. It’s quite an expensive app so I hope they will fix this soon…

It works really well for what it is supposed to do, but it is not the most stable app. But it is very intuitive and really mimics the site rather well. I prefer the app over the site on my phone.

Drumeo by far makes the and most accurate best drum tabs, but the only way to access them is too pay for a full Musora membership. You should be able to select what you want to pay for rather than paying $240 a year for all of them. I would use this app a lot more if I only had to pay for Drumeo.

When you first download the app it asks you what membership you want but pressing on the button does nothing and keeps you on that screen

Drumeo is a great service but there’s so many bugs that can be annoying (lots of screen freezing) and you just have to restart the app to fix.

I have found this site to be just Awesome. Great coaches, Great courses, from working on the full kit to rudiments on the practice pad, to incorporating rudiments into fills on the kit. The forums are an awesome way to gather knowledge from other drummers with more experience, great people who are more then interested in helping and encouraging you. 30 Day drummer and 30 day chops have been just an eye opener for me. Chops has made me completely focused on my fills. 30 day drummer is a great foundation and I love messing around with implementing rudimental fills in Domino’s beats. 30 day independence is another Homerun… helping me with my focus which helping to learn drum parts to actual songs not just playing along with them in time. I retire from the carpenters union and plan on taking a full time position behind my kit working with Drumeo. You guys are doing an awesome job!! Feels like I have 50 personal drum instructors. Toughest part of my day is figuring what do I want to work on next. lol. Keep up the great work.

I bought the new Alesis Nitro Max knowing it came with the Drumeo app. It had great reviews and i was excited, but then i logged in. There is no course path… you have to figure it out yourself. There is literally a 7 lesson app just to learn how to use the app. The beginning drum courses also start with boring stuff, like how to listen for drums in existing songs. After you get a kit the last thing you want to do is listen to other people play, you want to play yourself… Tl;dr; I expected there to be a laid out course path for beginners, and now its looking like YouTube is the better option for beginner video courses. Maybe the app is better for more experienced drummers, but for this beginner I was disappointed and glad the trial was free from Alesis.

The new update that came out today, it’s not allowing videos to sync up with the audio. I’ve closed the app down restart of the phone, and still the same issue.

I was scared when I bought my electric drum set, I felt like I never had good rhythm my whole life & wasn’t sure if I could catch on, but thanks to Drumeo, I feel like i’m doing good for having never playing drums before. I love the lessons & that I can pause, rewind, slow them down until i’m more comfortable with what i’m doing. The 30 day drummer course is a lot of fun & it’s only about 10 minutes a day. The community on the app is really encouraging & helpful too!
