Mustakshif is the world first broad-scope halal scanner. Scan any product, from food, grocery, pharmaceuticals, to cosmetics to check whether it has halal certification. You can have a peace of mind as you shop and consume any product anywhere, anytime.
Consuming Halal products is an order from Allah and must be followed by every Muslim. There are sets of requirement for food and other products to be considered halal. A product is halal when it does not contain haram products and for meat when the livestock is slaughtered according to the Islamic law.
When you are travelling and living in countries to countries without halal regulation it can be very challenging to find food and products that are halal. Mustakshif is created to help you find out if any product is safe to consume or not. All you need to do is to open our app, scan the barcode, and we will find from our database if the product is halal. If you don’t have the access to the barcode, you can also search products using our Search function.

If the product is not on our database, please feel free to submit the product to us for verification! You can also check the status of the product you’ve submitted whether it’s halal or not.
Note: Allow us to send you Notification to get important updates! Some products you scanned might have their status changed from halal to haram. The Location permission is needed so we can send you information about common products in your area. Camera function is also important for the functionality of our app so we can use your device camera to scan barcodes.
