DON’T update if your maps are pre 2015 ! As mapyx say they work

The app is clunky, adjusting and panning map scales doesn’t consistently work. The app when running (even in the background), causes excessive heating and power consumption.

Zero stars if I could. It appears you have to have purchased map tiles for this to work. I have an OS subscription via Quo but am unable to load anything into this app. More than disappointed.

Temperamental, un user-friendly, would give it zero if I could.

Afraid I didn’t get on with this product at all. I’d been recommended it and had high hopes. But feel as if I’ve wasted £5 purchasing it. All I wanted was a map to walk by tomorrow and now I’ve spent and hour downloading various things onto laptop and phone and I still can’t see any maps.....very disappointed.

A complete waste of money, it's very light on features if it works at all, there are a lot better free apps available.

This should be a good piece of software. I've tried it a couple of times while out walking. I get a mix of map scales on the same screen and occasionally only 2/3 of the screen has any map. Much of the time a significant portion of the screen is blank. The sat nav information seems very accurate. Lets see an update soon or most people won't use it and see their £6.99 as a waste of money.

This mobile app has now significantly improved the accessibilty of Mapyx maps (including UK OS 1/50000 and 1/25000) purchased from Mapyx. Many years ago I purchased a Lowrence Endura GPS device and Mapyx OS maps in order to have a GPS device with OS maps ... with this mobile app I can now very quickly and easily also load/ unload maps and routes/ tracks between the Mapyx Quo software on my PC and my mobile phone to use with the phones GPS ... brilliant ... well done Mapyx ... the only reason I've only given 4 stars is because I know Mapyx will work hard to expand this app further to enable the full 5 stars!

This is a new departure from Mapyx, so this App shouldn't be too harshly reviewed. The IOS App is only part of the whole package - sure the IOS one is lacking support for free (OSM) mapping at the moment, but I am sure that it will come. One to watch, and use in conjunction with the other elements of the whole Mapyx range. It isn't a standalone App as some others as it is integrated into the Mapyx system, so user expectation might need to managed.
